Kumkum Bhagya 8th September 2024 Written Update: The episode opens with Neha finally drinking the juice laced with the truth serum. Poorvi, taking advantage of the moment, takes Neha aside under the pretext of doing her makeup before the engagement. Meanwhile, Sahil, disguised as a waiter, is in the kitchen when a staff member questions him about his unfamiliarity. He lies, claiming he’s unwell, but is instructed to serve snacks.
In the room, Neha apologizes to Poorvi, which makes Poorvi suspect the serum is working. She prepares to switch on the camera, hoping for a confession. Poorvi confronts Neha, asking why she broke her home. Neha simply replies that she wants to live the life Poorvi once lived. Poorvi pushes further, but Neha refuses to elaborate. Poorvi asks her to finish her makeup while she steps out to make a phone call.
Yug is confident that Neha will confess, but Diya warns that the plan might not succeed. Jaswant, Harman, and others express doubt. Poorvi soon returns, disappointing everyone by revealing that the serum didn’t work. Yug speculates that it might have been adulterated. Dadu points out that Neha appeared fully conscious. The family worries that the engagement could proceed.
Elsewhere, Jassi tells Monisha that RV’s family spiked Neha’s drink. Monisha guesses it was a truth serum and panics. Jassi reassures her, revealing that he had already thrown out the spiked drink and given Neha a clean one. Monisha is relieved and thanks Jassi, who mocks her for being excluded from the plan. He boasts that if he hadn’t come, Neha might’ve confessed by now. Monisha insists that the engagement must go ahead.
RV is deeply worried, saying they’ll be trapped if the engagement happens. Poorvi tries to calm him, suggesting they still have time and another vial of serum. This time, they plan to use a higher dose. She encourages RV not to give up, reminding him they are doing what’s right. Diya supports Poorvi, declaring that RV and Poorvi are made for each other and will overcome this together.
Poorvi takes the glass and heads to Neha’s room. Neha, after finishing her makeup, tells Poorvi that she has no other option but this marriage to secure her future. Poorvi questions her real motives—who sent her to destroy RV’s life? Neha denies any conspiracy. Spotting Sahil dressed as a waiter, Neha excuses herself to use another bathroom and follows him.
Diya sees Neha leaving and alerts Poorvi. Inside the other room, Sahil confronts Neha, asking if she truly plans to marry someone else. Neha insists she still loves only him and begs him to leave. Sahil accuses her of lying based on what he witnessed. Neha says she can’t explain everything now but swears her love is true.
Poorvi knocks on the door. Neha hides Sahil and lies about using the washroom. Diya notices her pale expression and offers her water, which Neha refuses before walking away. Sahil feels guilty for hurting her and realizes she might be forced into this engagement. He decides not to abandon her and stays back to help.
Back in the hall, Dadu praises Poorvi’s courage and conviction. Harman and Jaswant agree, admiring her persistence and pure intentions.
