Maati Se Bandhi Dor 12th December 2024 Written Update begins with the family gathered around Vasundara, taking care of her. Jaikant questions how the media got wind of the situation so quickly and blames Jaya. Sulekha, joining in, discredits Jaya’s intentions. However, Vaiju and Ranvijay defend Jaya and warn Sulekha against speaking ill of her. Ranvijay asks them to leave Vasundara to rest.
Jaikant continues blaming Jaya, prompting a sharp rebuke from Ranvijay. Vasundara surprisingly supports Jaikant’s suspicion. Ranvijay tries to calm the situation and insists she rest. As everyone leaves, Vaiju stops Ranvijay and demands he reveal the truth. He replies that he’s going to speak to his father.
Elsewhere, Jaya is heartbroken and emotional, recalling Vasundara’s harsh words. The song Kise Puchun plays as she breaks down. Just then, Kunal arrives at her house. As she opens the door, she’s surprised to see him. Meanwhile, Rao Sahab reflects on recent events with sorrow. When Ranvijay approaches him, hoping to explain, Rao Sahab cuts him off, expressing disappointment and saying that the family’s respect has been tarnished. He accuses Ranvijay of letting the legacy crumble. Despite Ranvijay’s attempts to reassure him that he’ll fix everything, Rao Sahab leaves.
Ranvijay is left in tears, as is Vaiju. In the meantime, Jaya and Kunal share a light moment. Though initially arguing, Kunal jokes to lighten the mood. He tries fixing a bulb using an online tutorial, and though he struggles, he eventually manages. Jaya thanks him for his efforts.
Kunal helps her clean the house and, as he prepares to leave, says he wants to meet Ranvijay. Jaya tells him that Ranvijay is likely busy, but Kunal cracks another joke. Soon, Ranvijay arrives with food and some of her belongings. Jaya is surprised and asks how he found her. He admits he got her address from a broker and apologizes for showing up unannounced.
At that moment, Ranvijay accidentally bumps into Kunal. Kunal introduces himself as Kunal Marathe. Ranvijay is visibly shocked. Kunal sarcastically says that since Ranvijay is about to become Jaya’s ex-husband, they were bound to meet.
