During the episode, Vaiju is surrounded by goons. Ranvijay rescues her. He sees Vaiju there. He considers the goons’ fall. He asks what happened here. She recalls fighting the goons in anger. He says you beat the goons. She says you must have been there with Jaya. Police arrive. Ranvijay claims these goons kidnapped Vaiju and threatened to kill me. The goon lies to the inspector. Vaiju says he is lying to the inspector. The inspector asks how she is related to you.
Ranvijay, my would-be wife’s sister, has been arrested by the inspector. I overheard Sulekha telling Vaiju to stay away from the rasams because of something Ranvijay said. I hope they return home safely and that the engagement mahurat was fortunate today. The pandit believes that any bond created during this auspicious time will endure. As they are handcuffed and led into the police van, I notice Vaiju’s hand is injured and offer her a scarf. Just then, Rao Sahab arrives and spots Ranvijay’s car. He asks Vasundhara why the police have taken them into custody, to which Jaya states she will accompany them to find out.
He says Inspector, Ranvijay, and Vaiju are married. Vaiju says he is lying. Jaya asks who got married. Vaiju says this man kidnapped me, he thought it was my marriage, he’s talking nonsense. He says no, I’m talking about Jhumri Patan. The inspector scolds him. Vasundhara arrives. The Inspector lets Ranvijay and Vaiju go.
We are now going home, Vasundhara says. Jaya hugs Vaiju. Vaiju apologizes for delaying your engagement. Jaya says I’m glad both of you are safe. Why did those goons kidnap you? Vaiju says that they thought it was my wedding and kidnapped me for money. They all come home. Ranvijay asks where the guests went. Sulekha asks why they will stay when there is no engagement. Vaiju says Jaya and I are ready for marriage. Rao Sahab says it is a bad omen not to marry on a good mahurat. Vaiju says they are right. She tricks them and convinces them to keep the engagement. She says you are all here. Ranvijay and Jaya’s love needs your blessing. Everyone smiles. Vaiju says Ragini is lovely, and I know she won’t let Jaya miss Kaveri and me.
