The episode begins with Ranvijay expressing his gratitude for the plant Vaiju gifted him. He wonders why she didn’t give it to him earlier, to which Vaiju responds that everyone else gave him expensive gifts. Ranvijay praises the thoughtfulness behind Vaiju’s gift, and she explains that planting a tree is like praying for someone’s well-being and success. This reminds him of Jaya’s words, and he thanks Vaiju for her kind gesture. She then hands him some soil and asks him to accept it as a symbol of receiving her gift. As she leaves, he notices Jaya’s gift among the others.
Vasundhara makes a sweet. She says it’s for puja, not for you. Ranvijay asks Jaya why she keeps so many fasts and why men should be healthy if women fast. He asks Jaya not to keep the fast. Jaya says we want to do it to show our love. Vasundhara says yes, this fast is kept for love. The wife demonstrates that a husband-wife relationship is unique and that we are willing to undergo difficult tests in order to love. Ranvijay sees Vaiju.
As she sees her mangalsutra, she cries. She decides to keep the fast and do her responsibilities. It’s morning, and everyone wants to eat. Vaiju says, “I was awakened by the noise. I’ll serve the food.” Vasundhara says no, only husbands can serve it. Ragini is sad. Vaiju consoles Ragini and tells her to decide whether to keep this fast.
Sulekha and everyone come. Vaiju asks Ragini why she keeps the fast. Her husband never cared for her, and it’s her right. Sulekha says you don’t talk about relations. Your marriage hasn’t happened yet, and you don’t know about this fast. Ranvijay asks her to stop it. Vasundhara asks Sulekha to start the day with sweets, not poison. Sulekha consoles Ragini and hugs her. Vaiju cries in the kitchen, thinking about Ranvijay.
She expresses her desire for Ranvijay’s happiness and assures him that she will fulfill her duties as a wife. As she eats, she mentions the importance of keeping a fast. Suddenly, Ranvijay appears and questions her actions. She becomes frightened and accidentally drops her plate. He demands an explanation for why she is eating the food. She claims she is feeling hungry, but he notices it is from Jaya’s plate. She explains that throwing away food is disrespectful. However, Ranvijay suspects she is hiding something and presses her to reveal the truth. Despite his persistent questioning, she refuses to disclose anything. Just then, Arhaan arrives and reminds them to join the aarti ceremony. They all head to participate in the prayers while Vaiju asks for blessings.
She waters the plant when Ranvijay visits Vaiju. He says you kept a fast for me, right? She says yes, trust me, you won’t have any trouble, Ragini asked me to attend the aarti. Please don’t complicate things, I’m happy, don’t do all this, leave this fast. This is important to me, you said I would not be stopped from doing my duty, I have this right in our relationship. Kaveri comes home, thinking that Ranvijay is with Jaya, and she sees Jaya inside.
Our one mistake may lead Jaya to sorrow. It’s not her fault, and I don’t want her to be sad. If this secret comes out, then what will we tell everyone? In an attempt to see, Kaveri asks what secret he’s talking about and to whom. Jaya calls her out. Vaiju and Ranvijay see Kaveri.
