The episode starts with Ranvijay and Vaiju hiding. Kaveri asks if you and Ranvijay are happy. Jaya says yes, but don’t trust him blindly. Stay alert. Jaya says don’t worry, he loves me so much that I don’t need to watch him. Kaveri prays for Jaya. Ragini stays sad. Vaiju consoles her. Ragini says I’m scared about my future. Arhaan asked if she could help me with her homework. Ragini leaves.
As Ragini flips through her photo album, Vaiju remarks that the key to her future may lie in her past. With a smile on her face, she breaks into song. The sound catches Ragini’s attention, and she joins Vaiju in seeing what is happening. Her face lights up as she recognizes the sitar from the photos. Vaiju apologizes for playing with it and asks why it was untouched for ten years. She understands that Ragini had let go of her passions and desires to fulfill her responsibilities, but one should never sacrifice their identity for relationships.
Vasundhara agrees with Vaiju’s point, acknowledging her as the mother and taking responsibility for not recognizing Vaiju’s true identity. There has always been a longing to hear music in this house. Rao Sahab and Vasundhara are moved to tears by this revelation. He fondly remembers how when Vaiju used to play the sitar, it felt like the house was transformed into a temple. Ragini smiles while Ranvijay encourages her to start playing the sitar again. Jaya reminds them that it is Durgasthami today. Vaiju expresses her gratitude towards Ragini and embraces her. She then begins to play the sitar, singing Ek Radha ek meera…. Everyone in the room is filled with joy. Vasundhara suggests it is time for aarti, and all the wives perform the rituals together. As Vaiju watches Ranvijay from afar, she notices her mangalsutra and reminisces about their past while Hamesha tumko chaha… plays in the background.
Then she goes to do the puja. She sees Ranvijay’s photo. Sulekha asks Vaiju what’s going on, Vaiju. She sees Vaiju with the Sindoor. She drags Vaiju outside. Everyone is stunned to see Vaiju with the Sindoor and Mangalsutra. Vaiju is asked by Sulekha for his fast, when he got married, and who he married.
We can’t have you insulting our customs like this; you have insulted the Suhaagans. Tell us the truth about your husband or remove this sindoor. Vaiju stops her. She says my sindoor will not be removed. Sulekha asks who is the Sindoor. Vaiju sees Ranvijay. He thinks the truth has to be revealed, and it’s okay if it does. Vaiju says you all want to know about the Sindoor.
