Maati Se Bandhi Dor 17th December 2024 Written Update: The episode begins with Ranvijay angrily confronting Jaya, accusing her of being responsible for his arrest. Vaiju immediately steps in to defend Jaya, but Jaya walks away heartbroken. Ranvijay suspects Kunal might be behind it, but Vaiju strongly denies it, assuring him Jaya could never do such a thing.
Ranvijay asks Vaiju to come back home with him, promising to make things right, but she refuses, declaring that everything is over and that she no longer belongs in that house. Later, when Ranvijay reaches home, Vasundara is relieved to see him, but Rao Sahab insists he must annul his marriage with Vaiju, as he is legally wedded to Jaya, who has left the house in distress.
To everyone’s shock, Ranvijay boldly refuses and confesses that Vaiju is his true love. He asserts that this is Vaiju’s house and she has full rights over him and everything connected to him. He openly defends her and says if she doesn’t return, he will sever ties with the family. He apologizes for complicating relationships and admits that Jaya and Vaiju suffered the most because of him. Firm in his decision, he says he won’t let anyone hurt Vaiju again. He leaves the house, leaving Vasundara in tears.
Later, all three—Ranvijay, Jaya, and Vaiju—are seen reminiscing the past, each emotionally overwhelmed. Ranvijay worries about Vaiju. Meanwhile, Kunal notices Jaya crying and approaches her. When she accuses him of getting Ranvijay arrested, he questions if she paid him to do so, and adds that he doesn’t work without payment. When she denies it, he wonders who the actual culprit is.
Ranvijay receives a call from Mishra, who informs him that Vaiju is at the office. Surprised, he thanks him and reflects on the situation. Meanwhile, Kunal sits down with Jaya, and she reveals the truth behind Ranvijay and Vaiju’s forced marriage. Kunal says he wasn’t the one who filed the complaint and expresses frustration at the emotional entanglements that complicate decisions.
When Jaya questions his understanding of emotions, he opens up about his own heartbreak—how after eight months of marriage, he discovered his wife was in love with his best friend. Since then, he has lost faith in love, marriage, and promises. Jaya apologizes for making assumptions. Kunal walks away.
Vaiju, determined to uncover the truth, goes to the police station and questions the inspector about the person who lodged the complaint. Though he mocks her and asks her to leave, Vaiju cleverly tricks him and obtains a copy of the complaint. To her shock, she finds Kaveri’s name on it.
Later, Jaya arrives at the mill to meet Ranvijay. He lashes out at her, but she insists she had nothing to do with the arrest and offers to ask Kunal to investigate the matter further. Though skeptical, he listens. Meanwhile, Vaiju is stunned by the betrayal she uncovers.
