The episode opens with tension filling the hospital room as Ranvijay and Jaya stand beside an unconscious Vayu. The doctor continues to examine him while both parents silently pray for their son’s recovery. Ranvijay, staring helplessly at his child, recalls Vayu’s first moments after birth — the way he held his tiny hand, the laughter they shared, and the unbreakable bond they built over the years.

The doctor comes out and informs them that while there is no blood clot, Vayu’s condition remains fragile. He adds, “Even in his unconscious state, he’s calling for someone — his Fighter Aunty.” The mention of that name shocks everyone.

Vasundara, clearly displeased, immediately turns to Ranvijay and asks coldly, “Are you planning to bring Vaiju back into this house now?” Ranvijay clenches his fists and replies sharply, “No one will ever take her name in this house again. I won’t allow her to step into our lives. Not now, not ever.”

Vasundara argues that every time Vaiju’s name is spoken, chaos follows. Ranvijay, furious, warns her not to interfere with how he handles his son’s recovery. “Vayu will recover because of his strength, not because of that woman,” he says and walks away angrily.

Jaya steps in and apologizes to Vasundara for Ranvijay’s behavior, trying to keep the peace. Just then, Vani calls Vayu’s number from Shivganv. Before Jaya can answer, Vasundara snatches the phone and orders her to block the number immediately. “We’ve had enough of this distraction,” she says sternly. With tears in her eyes, Jaya reluctantly blocks Vani’s number. Back in Shivganv, Vaiju notices the missed call and consoles a heartbroken Vani, saying softly, “Maybe they’re busy. Don’t cry, my brave girl.”

Ranvijay later informs Jaya that he has arranged for an eye specialist, Mr. Sinha, to come from Mumbai to treat Vayu. Jaya tries to apply a traditional remedy on Vayu’s forehead, hoping it might help, but Ranvijay stops her. “We don’t need old remedies or old people in our lives,” he says sharply, hinting again at Vaiju. “Neither Vayu nor I need her.”

Moments later, Vayu regains consciousness. His first words are, “Has Fighter Aunty come? Did Vani come to meet me?” Ranvijay stiffens at the mention of Vaiju’s name. Vayu insists that he won’t start any treatment or wear his glasses unless they come to see him. Ranvijay loses his patience and shouts, “Enough! Forget about them!” before storming out of the room.

Jaya sits beside Vayu and gently strokes his hair, trying to calm him down. Mr. Sinha arrives soon after and begins examining the boy. He asks Vayu to walk toward him, but Vayu struggles to take a step and ends up stumbling. When Mr. Sinha asks what’s wrong, Vayu says softly, “I can’t see clearly, even with my glasses. I can’t even see Papa standing over there.”

The room falls silent as Jaya’s eyes fill with tears. Vayu hugs her tightly, sobbing, “Will I ever see again, Maa?” Jaya hugs him back and promises to do whatever it takes to make him better.

Meanwhile, back in Shivganv, Vaiju notices that Vani has developed a fever. The doctor tells her that it might be due to emotional stress. As she tends to her daughter, Vaiju suddenly feels a strange pull in her heart — as if someone she loves is in pain. She looks out of the window and whispers, “Vayu…”

At the hospital, Dr. Sinha privately tells Ranvijay and Jaya that Vayu’s condition might not be physical but psychological — a trauma response. “He keeps calling for Fighter Aunty,” the doctor says. “Maybe seeing her could help him heal faster.” Ranvijay refuses instantly, saying, “That’s not an option.”

Later, Jaya sits alone outside the ward, her mind clouded with guilt and helplessness. She thinks about how her trust in Ranvijay has been tested and how Vasundara’s anger has made things worse. Determined, she resolves to take matters into her own hands.

At that moment, Sunita informs Milind that Vaiju has decided to leave Shivganv and return to Bhoomipur to restart her life. But when Vani overhears the conversation, she reveals that they are actually heading to Shimla instead, where Vaiju has found a teaching job — training students in Kalaripayattu.

As Vaiju prepares to leave, a car pulls up outside her home. She opens the door — and to her shock, Jaya is standing there. Their eyes meet in tense silence. Vaiju is taken aback, while Jaya looks both desperate and determined.

Precap:

Jaya pleads with Vaiju to return for Vayu’s sake, revealing that he might lose his eyesight permanently. Vaiju stands stunned as destiny once again pulls her back toward the man and child she tried so hard to forget.
