The episode begins with an intense confrontation between Vasundara and Vaiju. Seeing Vaiju in the hospital, Vasundara’s anger boils over. She asks coldly, “Are you happy now? Is this what you wanted — to see us broken like this?” She accuses Vaiju of finding satisfaction in Ranvijay’s suffering and says harshly that no one in the family wants her there. “If our mother were alive today,” Vasundara adds bitterly, “she would have been ashamed of you.”
Vaiju looks at her with tears in her eyes but refuses to stay silent. “You have no right to speak of shame,” she retorts. “The day of my godh bharai, you left my lap empty — that day, you lost every right to call me your sister.”
The words cut deep. Vasundara, fuming, accuses Vaiju of returning only to take revenge on Ranvijay for the past. “Why have you come back now?” she demands.
Vaiju, steadying herself, replies firmly, “I’m not here for revenge. I’m here for Vayu.” Her voice trembles but carries strength.
At that moment, Ranvijay enters the ward. His eyes blaze with anger as he sees Vaiju standing there. Without hesitation, he begins to insult her, accusing her of manipulating emotions to re-enter their lives. Vaiju listens in silence, her hands clenching at her side.
Before he can say more, Jaya steps forward and interrupts. “Enough, Ranvijay,” she says sharply. “I’m the one who called Vaiju here.” The room falls silent. Ranvijay looks at her in disbelief.
Jaya explains that she requested Vaiju’s presence because their son’s condition was worsening. “Dr. Sinha has already told us that Vayu’s problem isn’t physical — it’s emotional,” she says. “His heart and mind are in pain. He’s not healing because he’s missing the one person who gave him strength — his Fighter Aunty.”
Ranvijay, however, refuses to listen. He insists that he has already arranged for a specialist from the US and doesn’t need Vaiju’s involvement. “You don’t need to play savior here,” he tells her coldly.
Jaya refuses to back down. “I did this as Vayu’s mother,” she says firmly. “You can blame me, but not her.”
A flashback shows Jaya’s desperate plea — standing before Vaiju with folded hands, saying, “Vayu’s treatment won’t start until you come. I lost him once because of my own mistake, but now you have the power to save him. Please, Vaiju, only you can heal him.”
Another flashback follows, showing Sunita questioning Vaiju about her sudden change of heart. “You said you’d never go back to Bhoomipur,” Sunita reminds her. Vaiju replies tearfully, “I already lost Vayu once. I won’t lose him again.”
Back in the present, Vaiju calmly acknowledges that Ranvijay once saved Vani’s life by taking a bullet for her. “I owe him that,” she says softly. “That’s why I came here — not as your enemy, but as a mother who understands another mother’s pain.”
Jaya looks at Ranvijay and reminds him that both of them went to Shiv Ganv with hope. “Just like you didn’t give up on saving Vani, Vaiju hasn’t given up on Vayu. Don’t let your past destroy his present,” she pleads.
Rao Saheb, who has been watching quietly, finally speaks. “If Vaiju’s presence can help the boy recover, let her meet him,” he advises. His words echo in the tense room.
But Ranvijay’s pride and pain overpower his reason. He glares at Vaiju and says coldly, “You came for money, didn’t you? Tell me your price.” Pulling out a signed blank cheque, he holds it out to her. “Here. Take whatever amount you want — but leave my son and my life forever.”
The room gasps. Vaiju stares at the cheque for a moment, then tears it in half without hesitation. She throws the pieces back at him and says fiercely, “You think I came here for money? I came here for a child who calls me Aai. I came here for a mother’s sake — because I know what it feels like to lose a child.”
Her words hang heavy in the air.
Just then, they hear a faint voice — Vayu’s. “Fighter Aunty…” Everyone turns to see him slowly waking up. Vaiju’s eyes fill with tears as she instinctively steps forward, but Ranvijay blocks her path.
“It’s my decision,” he says coldly. “Vayu won’t meet you.”
Vaiju’s heart shatters, but she respects his words and turns to leave. Behind her, Vayu tries to get up, calling her name again. As he stumbles toward the door and doesn’t see her, his body weakens — and he faints once more.
The family rushes toward him in panic. Jaya holds his hand, trembling, and turns to Vasundara. “Do you still think Vaiju isn’t needed?” she asks with quiet intensity. Vasundara stands speechless, her face pale with realization.
