The episode begins with Ranvijay ignoring Jaya’s repeated calls. Vaiju tells her not to disturb him since he is in an important meeting, but Jaya insists that he gave her permission to call anytime she needed him. At the meeting, Ranvijay gets distracted when the phone rings again. The clients grow frustrated, but he excuses himself and takes Jaya’s call. Jaya complains about Vaiju, but Ranvijay scolds her for childish arguments, reminding her that this wasn’t an emergency. He disconnects the call, but when he returns, the clients have already left, leaving him angry.
At home, Sulekha claims that Jaya fell unwell after speaking to him. Jaya adds that Vaiju was lecturing her. Vaiju explains she only asked Jaya to take care, but Ranvijay, upset about the lost meeting, scolds her. Later, Vaiju tells Ranvijay that everyone seems to care only about Jaya’s pregnancy, forgetting hers. Ranvijay consoles her, explaining that her pregnancy is normal while Jaya’s is complicated. He hugs Vaiju, urging her to understand.
Meanwhile, Jaya insists that she can handle herself, but she stumbles and screams in pain. Ranvijay rushes to hold her, and the family takes her to the hospital. The doctors decide to perform a C-section, and Ranvijay prays desperately for her and her baby’s safety.
At the same hospital, Vaiju also experiences labor pains. Nurses rush her into the labor room. Even in pain, Vaiju asks about Jaya. Ranvijay looks on, torn, as the nurse tells him to focus on Vaiju’s delivery.
The doctor later informs Ranvijay of devastating news — Jaya’s baby was stillborn, and her condition is critical. To save her life, they suggest showing her a baby to stabilise her emotionally. Ranvijay is shattered. At the same time, Vaiju delivers a healthy baby boy. Overjoyed, she names him Vayu and lovingly welcomes him into her arms.
Ranvijay, however, recalls Jaya’s earlier suicide attempt and breaks down in guilt. Seeing no other option, he makes the heart-wrenching decision to give Vaiju’s baby to Jaya to save her life.
