The episode of Maati Se Bandhi Dor 22nd January 2025 begins with Ranvijay crying as he carries the baby to Jaya. Jaya bursts into tears of joy, finally holding her child in her arms. The family members gather around and congratulate her, while Ranvijay quietly breaks down inside.

Ragini notices his pain and asks if Vaiju is fine. Ranvijay nods, but the truth weighs heavily on him.

Meanwhile, Vaiju wakes up in her hospital ward and immediately looks for her baby. Confused, she asks Ranvijay if the baby has been taken for vaccination. Ranvijay, unable to hold back, cries and recalls the events. He admits the truth—he had to give their baby to Jaya in order to save her life.

Shocked and heartbroken, Vaiju listens as he explains that the doctors couldn’t save Jaya’s child, and to save Jaya, their baby had to be given to her. Vaiju’s world shatters. She questions him bitterly, asking how he could make such a life-changing decision without even speaking to her.

“You stole my Vayu,” she says, devastated. Ranvijay tries to justify his actions, saying she would have done the same if she were in his place. Vaiju replies that while she would have considered saving Jaya, she would never have made the decision alone. She declares that despite everything, she is Vayu’s mother and will always remain so.

Torn apart, Vaiju weeps as she admits she cannot share her motherly love. Gathering courage, she goes to Jaya’s room and sees her happily bonding with the baby. Vaiju stands silently at the doorway, her eyes filled with tears.

The doctor later praises Vaiju’s sacrifice, telling the family she gave up her baby to save Jaya’s life. Ranvijay listens silently, guilt written all over his face.

Back in her ward, Vaiju collapses on the empty baby bedding, sobbing uncontrollably. She whispers to herself that she couldn’t bring herself to snatch the baby back from Jaya, but questions Ranvijay’s heart – “How did you do it? Didn’t your hands shake?” She vows never to forgive him.
