The episode of Maati Se Bandhi Dor 23rd January 2025 begins with Vasundara and Ragini filled with guilt. They regret not giving Vaiju the care and attention she deserved during her pregnancy. Sulekha tries to reassure them, saying they should not blame themselves for Vaiju’s pain.
Vaiju returns home and her eyes immediately fall on Jaya holding baby Vayu. Everyone surrounds Jaya with joy and affection. Vaiju stands quietly at a distance, watching as both Jaya and the baby receive a warm welcome.
Jaya calls Vaiju and gently asks her to hold Vayu. Vaiju hesitates and looks at Ranvijay before finally taking the baby in her arms. She hugs him with deep emotion but the moment is cut short when Sulekha intervenes. Sulekha says a baby cannot stay away from a mother’s warmth and quickly takes Vayu back to Jaya. Hurt by the gesture, Vaiju walks away in silence.
Ranvijay tells Sulekha to consider Vaiju’s feelings more carefully, knowing how much pain she is going through. Later, Vaiju sits in her room with the baby clothes she had kept aside, crying bitterly. Ranvijay comes in and tries to console her but Vaiju lashes out at him. She asks how Vayu will survive without her love and questions how he could replace her in their son’s life.
Vaiju explains how every day of pregnancy is like a battle for a mother, and the ultimate victory is holding her baby. Despite winning her battle, she says she has lost everything. Ranvijay insists that she is still Vayu’s mother but Vaiju refuses to accept it. She tells him he has taken away her right to motherhood and says she cannot live with him anymore. Heartbroken, Ranvijay agrees to leave the room.
That night, Vayu cries continuously. Jaya tries to comfort him but fails. Hearing her child’s cries, Vaiju rushes to the room. The moment Vayu is placed in her arms, he stops crying and falls asleep peacefully. The family is surprised. Sulekha comments on how unusual it is that the baby calms down only with Vaiju. Jaya quickly takes him back, insisting she can care for her baby.
The next day, eunuchs arrive at the house to bless the baby with songs and dance. The family celebrates while Vaiju watches from a distance with sadness. Ranvijay announces that the baby is blessed with two mothers just like Lord Krishna. Vaiju stands silently, her heart breaking, unable to reveal the truth that she is Vayu’s real mother.
Precap: Vaiju gets Jaya arrested for Vayu’s death. Ranvijay says it is not Jaya’s fault and brings her back. Vaiju declares that she will not stay in the house anymore.
