The episode commences with Vaiju in tears as she surveys her charred home. Vasundhara stands by her side, offering words of comfort. “As your mother’s true symbol, it’s understandable that you are overwhelmed with grief,” she assures Vaiju. “But know that you have Kaveri and Jaya’s responsibility on your shoulders. We are all here to support you, and your mother’s memory will be honored when you find the strength to move forward.” Memories of Durga flood Vaiju’s mind. Meanwhile, Ranvijay approaches Jaya and speaks to her tenderly. “You went out of your way to make me despise you,” he confesses. “But my love for you has only grown stronger. You made a tremendous sacrifice for Vaiju without once asking for my help. You endured everything alone, but don’t forget that we have Vaiju’s blessings with us always.” He pleads with Jaya to open her eyes and assure her he will never leave her side.
Vaiju and Vasundhara arrive at the hospital. Kaveri hugs Vaiju and asks where he went. Vaiju says, “Tell Ajji that Aai has left us, call her for Aai’s last rites, and contact Kailash Mama.” Kaveri says he has never helped us. Vasundhara says they weren’t in Haldi. Kaveri says he doesn’t worry about us. Vasundhara asks her to call him. Kailash argues with his AAI. He gets a call from Kaveri.
Kaveri delivers some heartbreaking news- Durga has passed away, and her house was burned down. As Ajji and Kailash arrive, Vaiju and Kaveri explain that despite all their efforts, they were unable to save their mother’s life. As they mourn the loss, Ranvijay offers comfort to Vaiju while Kailash is responsible for performing the last rites. Even as he struggles with the tragedy, he makes sure to follow customs and burns her pyre as it starts to rain. Meanwhile, Jaya watches from a distance, and her eyes are filled with tears.
Ajji and Kaveri ask Kailash to take Vaiju to the village with him. Vaiju recalls Durga’s words, saying I’m not upset. She falls. Saleem and Kaveri hold her. Ajji says I’ve never seen Vaiju break down like that. Kaveri and Ajji ask Kailash to take her there with him. Kailash says I can’t support her expenses. Kaveri says we can’t see her like this, so we take her along for a few days.
When Vaiju wakes up, he says, “I won’t go.” Jaya needs me. Kailash says I’m saying the same. It would help if you were here. Kaveri tells Vaiju to stay with Kailash and Ajji for a few days. She thinks I’ll handle everything here. Vaiju says he doesn’t want to leave and wants to stay with everyone. Kailash says Vaiju should stay.
The doctor says we have to stop Jaya’s treatment if we don’t pay the hospital bills. She asks him to keep Jaya till she becomes conscious. He apologizes. She thinks about how to pay for Jaya’s treatment.
