In the opening scene, Jaya contacts Vaiju to meet up. Shortly after, both Ranvijay and Vaiju arrive at the hotel. Ragini advises Jaya to let go of her worries. Sulekha insists on apologizing to Jaya and being straightforward with her. Jaya questions if Sulekha has her best interests at heart, to which Sulekha confirms and brings up past situations where trust led to adverse outcomes for Kaveri and Ragini. As Ragini leaves, Jaya mentions that Ranvijay will soon join them after finishing his work. Sulekha spots Ranvijay and Vaiju not being occupied with any tasks or studies.
Jaya spots Ranvijay and Vaiju. The former informs her that Vaibhav was supposed to send a picture, which he now has. Jaya expresses her disappointment at Vaibhav not reading her message. Sulekha interjects, suggesting that seeing Ranvijay and Vaiju together should be enough evidence for Jaya to trust her. Jaya then speculates that maybe Vaiju informed Ranvijay about everything and convinced him to come here, confusing their whereabouts. As Ranvijay examines the picture, he advises Vaiju to be cautious. Sulekha tells Jaya she can close her eyes if she wants to avoid the truth. But Jaya urges her to think positively and promises to prove her suspicions are unfounded.
When Vaiju says we’ll beat him, Ranvijay says no, we’re just trying to identify him. That’s police work. He gets Jaya’s call. He thinks sorry, I can’t tell you the truth now, or you’ll get stressed out. Jaya and Sulekha go to see Ranvijay. The man hides from Ranvijay, who leans on Vaiju’s shoulder. Sulekha says they aren’t ashamed. Ranvijay suggests I hide the earpod on his table so that I can record his conversation. Vaiju says yes, hide your face with this book.
He nods as Vaiju goes after the waiter and hides the earpod in tissue paper. She drops the earpod and leaves. She signs Ranvijay. The man says Ranvijay shouldn’t be saved; he should die. His mother is leaving the jail. Jaya holds him. He says, “I am not shocked seeing you. I will tell you later. I have to leave.” She says, “Tell me now, not later.”
He tells her to leave, and she starts crying while voicing her complaints. He then reveals the truth to her, causing her to ask why he didn’t tell her earlier. He explained that he didn’t want to worry her. Just then, Sulekha arrives and taunts him about Vaiju coming between him and Jaya. Jaya interrupts, telling Sulekha to stop and not interfere in their matter. Sulekha argues that Vaiju is their sister, and their relationship with Rana will suffer because of her. Jaya reassures her she knows Ranvijay well and asks her not to say anything against them. She apologizes for not being able to handle the situation properly and suggests involving the police while she takes care of things within the family.
Ranvijay and Vaiju take off on the bike. She remarks that he must be happy. His mind is filled with Sulekha’s words. He pulls over and suggests that they should have a clear destination in life. He asks her about her goals and where she wants to end up. She asks for clarification. He continues, mentioning how their paths were never meant to cross. The events in Jhumri Patan were unfortunate but necessary for their safety. It’s time to move on and forget about it. He tells her not to force herself into his family any longer and to start living on her terms, taking advantage of her talent by studying, finding a good job, and pursuing her dreams before settling down with someone suitable when she feels ready. His words take her aback, but he insists that she focus on finding happiness in her life.
