The Episode begins with Ranvijay intercepting Jaya from spotting the sindoor stain on his t-shirt. She questions why he wants to keep it, as she is getting rid of old clothes. Ranvijay insists it’s not necessary and tries to brush it off. Eventually, a woman comes and collects the clothing. As they all pitch in to tidy up the house, Ranvijay observes from a distance as Vaiju works on fixing the decorative lights, which leads her to take a tumble.
Ranvijay embraces her, and the song “Tu hai to mujhe phir aur kya chahiye” plays as she departs. She then speaks with the scarecrow, expressing her disappointment in not having new clothes for Diwali. Luckily, a generous lady offers Vaiju a t-shirt for the scarecrow. Grateful, Vaiju dresses the scarecrow in Ranvijay’s shirt and remarks on how heroic it looks.
Ranvijay listens to her and smiles. He behaves and speaks like a scarecrow. She notices him and questions, “Why are you speaking to me like that?” At the same time, he looks at her and inquires, “What can I do? You’re not paying attention to me. What Diwali present would you like?” Vaiju responds, “Jaya’s joy.” The following day, Vasundhara reminds Ranvijay about the traditions. She informs him that as a married man, he is expected to follow this ritual from now on. However, he declines.
Vasundhara inquires with Jaya about Ranvijay’s readiness for the ritual. Upon his arrival, Ranvijay confirmed that he was prepared. Vaiju nods, and Rao Sahab and Vasundhara express their happiness. Ranvijay remembers Vaiju’s persuasion to participate in the rituals. Jaya performs the ceremony and applies the unique oil on him as he sits down. She wonders how his mind changed without her saying anything and who prompted him to come.
Later, Jaya inquires of Ranvijay what led to him changing his mind. He explains that he reflected upon his family and realized their importance, which made him not want to cause Diwali harm. Jaya then wishes him a happy Diwali and presents him with a gift, which happens to be their wedding gift. Upon seeing it, Ranvijay recognizes it as their best memory together. Jaya decides to hang the photo on the wall, and they both smile at the thought. Vaiju expresses happiness at seeing Ranvijay keep his promise to her but admits feeling anxious about something. Just then, Ranvijay arrives and tells Vaiju he wants to speak with her and wish her a happy Diwali first. She smiles at his gesture as they enjoy the moment while “Baawra Mann…” plays in the background.
Vaiju extends her well wishes to him and requests that he make eye contact while doing so. As they exchange smiles, he apologizes for not being able to offer her anything and asks how he can make it up to her. She reassures him, saying she is content with what he has already given her and doesn’t need anything else.

Vaiju and the rest of the group work on decorations while Ragini excitedly announces her news of becoming a Bua. Vaiju then congratulates Ranvijay before leaving.
