As Ranvijay passes by the bus, the bus stops at a dhaba. After going ahead, Vaiju recalls her marriage. During a protest, Ranvijay gets blocked. Vaiju gets ready and applies her Sindoor. She thinks about acting married. Ranvijay is considering another route. Kailash says you went there and got insulted. I got Vaiju married to a nice guy, but he didn’t give us anything.
As Vaiju hugs Aaji, she apologizes. Kailash asks where Ranvijay is. Ranvijay checks in at a hotel. Mukesh, a villager, sees him and thinks he’s Vaiju’s husband. In response to Kailash’s question, Vaiju says he doesn’t have much work, so he didn’t come, and I came to meet Aaji instead. The Sarpanch says, “Ranvijay is at a lodge, so we’ll go and meet him.” Aaji reminds everyone that he is our son-in-law. They all leave.
Seeing Vaiju’s missed call, Ranvijay runs to the lodge to inform him. She calls him. Vaiju comes there. He holds her. She asks what you’re doing, and those people are coming. Ranvijay asks why. Sarpanch and everyone come there. He asks why you’re staying here. I know you’re upset with me. I apologize; we must protect customs. Aaji also apologizes to him. Ranvijay says it’s okay.
Upon being asked to stay with his inlaws, Ranvijay states that he has worked and is here to speak to the farmers and end their protest. Aaji happily feeds them the laddoos. They welcome Ranvijay to the village.
Aaji performs Ranvijay and Vaiju’s aarti as Ranvijay reminisces about Jaya. The Sarpanch treats him with kindness and invites the couple to partake in a feast on the same plate, emphasizing its ability to strengthen their bond. However, Ranvijay, who doesn’t believe in their marriage, feels that participating in these rituals goes against his self-respect. Vaiju questions why he came if he was unwilling to respect the customs for Aaji’s sake. Ranvijay expresses his urgency to meet with the farmers’ union as promised. The Sarpanch agrees, and they leave for their meeting.
You should be careful when you talk to him, the Sarpanch says. The Sarpanch calls out Pratap, who says Ranvijay is the mill owner and our son-in-law. He says Ranvijay wants to speak to the farmers. He says I have increased 15% on my own, and you want 30%, and if you do this, I will have to close the factory. Pratap scolds him for exploiting the farmers. Ranvijay says you get the high rates from our mill, and I’m also a farmer. They get angry, and the Sarpanch stops them.
Pratap inquires with Vaiju about the technique she used to handle the sugarcane. She explains the process of planting it horizontally, which results in a higher yield and, consequently, increased profits. Emphasizing that their land is like a mother to them, she assures them they will not let any harvest go to waste. Additionally, she mentions Ranvijay’s offer of 15% higher prices and suggests that supporting him would benefit all involved. The farmers agree to her proposal. However, Pratap remains firm and advises them not to be swayed by her words as their protest will continue. As everyone leaves, an elderly man approaches Vaiju and requests some time to find a solution. He then departs from the scene.
You don’t have to worry about this matter; it’s good we got a chance to serve you. Ranvijay wonders why this happens again. Vaiju suggests he stay at the lodge; otherwise, he won’t be able to stay at home. It’s okay, Ranvijay says. It’s just one night. Let my luggage be there.
