The episode begins with Ranvijay expressing his commitment to always walk alongside Vaiju, holding her hand. However, she rejects his offer, citing what others might think. He quickly apologizes for his previous anger and insists on holding her hand. As they both hold hands, the song “Hasi ban gaye” plays in the background. Meanwhile, Rao Sahab comes across an interview video of Vaiju and shares it with everyone. Jaya informs them that Vaiju has gained fame. However, their shock escalates as they hear Vaiju’s statement about someone not keeping their promise to Aaji (grandmother) of not fighting with her.

Ranvijay claims he is not one to engage in arguments, and today is meant for celebrating. However, Jaikant and Sulekha deliberately provoke the rest of the family against Vaiju. This worries Jaya, who witnesses Ranvijay preventing Vaiju from removing her sindoor and mangalsutra and facing reality alone. In that moment, Jaya notices Ranvijay standing by himself.

As she approaches him, she greets him with a questioning look. He responds with the same. He remembers that Vaiju had gone to get changed.
