Maati Se Bandhi Dor 7th December 2024 Written Update begins with Vaiju firmly stating her disbelief in Kunal’s existence. Meanwhile, Jaya meets Kunal, who greets her coldly and mocks her. He sarcastically congratulates her for seeking a divorce and assumes she has been abandoned by her husband. Jaya interrupts his assumptions, asserting that her husband is a good man and their decision for divorce is mutual.
She tells Kunal she is there only to talk and evaluate if he’s fit to take up her case. She hands him the documents and tells him to send his bill. Kunal, surprised but impressed, smiles and agrees.
Back at home, Vaiju continues to question how easily Ranvijay accepted Jaya’s story. She still doubts the existence of Kunal and suspects Jaya is hiding something. Later, Jaya arrives and gives Vaiju her wedding ring. Vaiju questions her about the ring and Kunal. Jaya tells Vaiju that she deserves the ring for everything she has done and urges her not to feel guilty. She says she has found the one she loves and that Vaiju should stop sacrificing herself.
Ranvijay appears, and Vaiju confesses that she still doesn’t believe Jaya truly loves Kunal.
The next morning, Jaya visits Kunal again. He asks about her relationship with Ranvijay. She’s surprised by the question and accuses him of being unprofessional. Kunal explains that knowing the emotional context of a relationship helps him decide whether to take a case, and he doubts Jaya is mentally and emotionally ready. Jaya challenges him, saying he isn’t capable of handling her case. Kunal accepts her decision but points out that she seems firm about the divorce.
Meanwhile, Vaiju is busy on duty and visits a legal firm. Her boss assigns her a file and instructs her to deliver it to Kunal Marathe. On arrival, Vaiju accidentally bumps into a woman. Jaya sees Vaiju from a distance and panics, worried that her lie will be exposed. She runs toward Kunal’s office.
Vaiju sees the nameplate reading Kunal Marathe and recalls Jaya’s previous mention. She enters his office and hands him the file. When asked if there’s anything else, she silently gestures no and begins to leave. At that moment, Jaya arrives breathless and spots Vaiju inside. Vaiju questions Kunal about Jaya, and he jokes in response. Jaya rushes in and calls out to her, “Didi…”
