As his kurta catches fire, Vaiju and Jaya quickly come to Ranvijay’s aid. To protect Jaya, Ranvijay pushes her away while Vaiju rushes in from behind, using her hands to extinguish the flames. Meanwhile, Jaya embraces Ranvijay with concern. As Vaiju leaves, she is stopped by Ranvijay, who grabs her hand. She looks at him with surprise. The rest of the family is preoccupied with trying to put out the fire in the curtain. As Ranvijay tends to Vaiju’s burnt hands, he asks if she is alright. Vasundhara questions him about his well-being, but he insists that he is fine and leads Vaiju away with him.
While she stares at Vaiju emotionally, Ranvijay applies ice and ointment to his hands. She asks Ranvijay why he stopped her today, and Ranvijay says he did not want to put her in danger. As Jaya points out, he wants to keep her safe just as she does. She feels disappointed that Ranvijay won’t let her extinguish the fire, and Ranvijay tries to cheer her up and succeeds.
Jaya shares that Vaiju has again willingly placed herself in harm’s way. Vasundhara also informs her spouse of Vaiju’s heroic actions in saving Ranvijay. However, he suggests setting boundaries for Ranvijay to remember. In response, Vasundhara playfully accuses him of being unfaithful in marriage. After a brief disagreement, he departs. While browsing through her wedding album, Vaiju realizes the upcoming 30th marriage anniversary of Ranvijay’s parents and decides to plan something special. She gathers the family members and shares her ideas. Sulekha and Nagraj both express their disinterest in celebrating, echoing similar sentiments.
Jaya and Ragini are both eager to celebrate, so they decide that Vaiju should do some mimicking. Vaiju is hesitant at first, claiming she cannot act. However, Jaya encourages her to show off her talent. Arhaan suggests she start by imitating Sulekha. After that, everyone insists she copy Ranvijay as well. Sulekha expresses fear of him, but Jaya reassures her and urges Vaiju to go for it. As Vaiju starts mimicking Ranvijay, he unexpectedly walks in on them. Trying to continue undeterred, Vaiju mentions when Ranvijay forbade her from entering his room.
A stern expression crosses Ranvijay’s face as he approaches Vaiju. Jaya asks Ranvijay why he stopped Vaiju from entering their room. Vaiju tries to defend Ranvijay but admits he said that to her because he hated her. As a result of knowing the same, Jaya feels upset, and Vaiju leaves crying.
As Ranvijay apologizes to Vaiju, he cannot hide the truth from Jaya. During the episode, Ranvijay says what will happen if everyone discovers the truth about their relationship. He says he used to hate her but no longer does. Vaiju asks him how he feels about her now.
