When Vaiju, Jaya, Sulekha, and Mihika arrive in the village, they meet the local artists. Mihika says, “I don’t want to get tanned.” Jaya says this saree has a unique shine. The man explains to her, “We’ll leave now. It’s so hot here, so I don’t want a complete tour.” Vaiju says healthy food will be served to her, so come.
Jaya says Vaiju is there. She smiles to see Vaiju’s hard work. Jaya says, “I like this chutney.” She asks Mihika to try it. Mihika says no. Vaiju says you will get the best food in just ten minutes. Mihika steps in the cow dung and tells her aunty, “Do something.” Sulekha gets an idea and says, “Do one thing. You have shoes in the car. Vaiju will go and get them; just let her know.”
As she gets her shoes, Mihika asks Vaiju to help her. He says I can’t refuse if you say with love. She goes. Ranvijay is at the mill. He checks the sugar. He asks the man to call Vaiju. The man says she told him she had to show the village to some guests. He calls Vaiju and asks why she hasn’t answered the phone. He calls Jaya.
Vaiju gets Mihika shoes. Sulekha asks what’s this? How will she clean it? You are accustomed to putting your hands in cow dung; clean it and make her wear them. Vaiju says she can wash her feet with water. Mihika says it’s okay. I’m allergic to dirty things. I’ll be fine. Sulekha says no, you’ll get sick. We won’t like it. I’ll clean it for you. Vaiju says wait, I’ll get it done.
Ranvijay intervenes as Vaiju starts washing Mihika’s feet. Jaya quickly brings a water pot and catches Ranvijay’s attention. He reprimands Mihika for her actions and stands up for Vaiju, expressing his unwillingness to tolerate any disrespect towards her. He questions Jaya for not standing up for her sister, reminding her of their close friendship and asking if she has also adopted the mindset that considers people from their village inferior. Jaya cries while Ranvijay continues, stating that they have taken on the responsibility of caring for Vaiju and should not allow her to endure such mistreatment. He mentions that he is disappointed in Jaya for wanting to leave for Mumbai, suggesting that she has become influenced by Mihika’s beliefs. Unable to face his criticism, Jaya leaves while Sulekha pretends to be upset in front of Ranvijay.
She says you did wrong with Jaya, Jaya wasn’t here when I made Mihika wear shoes, I sent her to get water, she wasn’t at fault. He worries.
Rao Sahab remembers his sweetheart while he watches Arhaan having fun with paper boats. He breaks out in tears. He falters. Arhaan yells at Nanu. Everyone shows up to show him love. Vasundhara asks Rao Sahab to relax. Ranvijay approaches Jaya and expresses regret. She claims that I was joyful, but you misinterpreted me. He says, “I apologize; I didn’t think through my response.” Ragini gives them a call. She begs Jaya to hurry home since her father passed out. What, Jaya wonders, are we coming? Dad isn’t feeling well, so she asks Ranvijay to hurry. They walk away.
Vasundhara takes care of Rao Sahab. When she sees Rao Sahab’s picture with his lover, she gets sad. Ranvijay asks Sulekha to come fast. Mihika says no again—that’s melodrama. Jaya scolds her and sends her back to Mumbai.
