Getting Anushka some water, Janvi asks her to sit on the couch. She goes to fetch it. Aryaman takes Anushka to the Bundela hotel with Janvi following them. Janvi asks Aryaman why he brought Anushka there. Aryaman explains that Anushka will stay there for the rest of her life. Anushka asks Aryaman if he is separating her from her son.
Anushka pleads with Janvi to convince Aryaman not to separate her from Kian, pretending to be in pain, as Aryaman assures her that she will still be able to see Kian for a limited period of time. Anushka leaves. Janvi calms her down and argues with Aryaman, insisting that she will not stay at the hotel. Janvi tells Anushka to go to her room, promising to talk to Aryaman.
Aryaman expresses concern over Janvi’s behavior and believes that having Anushka stay with them is detrimental to their relationship. He notes the lack of romantic moments between them since Anushka’s arrival. In response, Janvi brings up Aryaman’s past mistake, to which he defends himself by stating that he has already apologized for it and it was an error five years ago. However, he becomes frustrated when Janvi continues to hold it against him and walks away. Feeling regretful, Janvi realizes that her actions may be causing Aryaman to dislike her, fulfilling her promise to Brij Bhushan.
Premchand gathers the family the next day and announces that they will perform a special Pooja, which is a family tradition for a new baby.
Since Kian has two mothers, Suhasini asks which mother should do the Pooja. Anushka volunteers to do the Pooja. Aryaman interrupts, saying Janvi will do the Pooja, but Janvi insists that Anushka do it in accordance with tradition. Brij Bhushan agrees with Janvi.
Janvi makes the covert decision to carry out Kian’s Pooja in secret. It shows Janvi getting ready for the Pooja. She is confronted by Aryaman, who accuses her of completing the Pooja covertly while acting otherwise. Janvi eats off her unfinished dinner plate to demonstrate that she is not performing the Pooja. Later, she walks to the kitchen and spits out the meal, expressing her regret to God for treating him disrespectfully while justifying her need to trick Aryaman.
With the intention of winning Kian’s heart, Anushka manipulates the 5-step Aarthi. During the Pooja, she requests Janvi to bring it but unfortunately, Janvi fails to realize that the oil is about to spill and is unable to prevent it in time. Anushka purposely allows the oil to spill on Janvi’s hand. Upon being questioned by Janvi, Anushka reminds her of the support she has been providing in her pursuit of Kian’s affection. Witnessing this exchange, Kian is impressed by Anushka and grows closer to her. As a gesture of concern, Kian takes Anushka along with him to apply ice on her injured hand.
