Once Kian has finished his Pooja to the Pipal tree, Anushka asks if Janvi will be okay after completing the ritual. Anushka assures him that Janvi will be fine. As Kian suggests, Anushka agrees to return home.
As they get ready to depart, Anushka accidentally steps on some shattered glass and hurts herself. Rather than immediately leaving, she asks Kian if they can extend their stay for a bit longer, to which he gladly consents. Anushka then suggests that Kian rest by dozing off on her lap since he must be exhausted from completing 50 rounds during the Pooja. Kian complies and soon falls into a peaceful slumber. Before drifting off, Anushka reminds him not to disclose anything about performing the Pooja for Janvi. Kian nods in agreement, and Anushka secretly notes that she can proceed with her next plan.
In the meantime, child welfare officials are questioning Janvi and Aryaman about why Kian left the house. As Janvi pleads with them to let her and Aryaman search for Kian, Anushka enters and informs the officials that Kian hasn’t gone anywhere—she took him to the park because she is his mother and can take him wherever she chooses. The child welfare officials agree to leave, and Anushka assures them that the rest of the formalities will be completed later.
Her answer to Janvi’s question is that she lied to the officials to protect her family. She explained to Janvi that she didn’t tell them she had taken Kian to the park. She reveals that she saw Kian leave the house when she was performing Pooja to the Tulsi tree because he was upset that Janvi ignored him. When Anushka found him crying on a park bench, she comforted him and brought him home, where he fell asleep.
Premchand thanks Anushka for bringing Kian back and offers her anything she wants. Anushka asks Premchand to let Kian stay in her room.
Once awake, Anushka updates Kian on her conversation with the Bundela household regarding their outing at the park. Respectful of his desire not to disclose their Pooja plans, Kian remains silent. Anushka then shares that Premchand has permitted Kian to reside with her. However, Kian expresses his preference for staying with Janvi. In response, Anushka offers to switch rooms so Kian can remain in his preferred room. Before Aryaman departs, Kian also invites him to stay, which Aryaman accepts.
Suhasini later asks Premchand why he didn’t speak up. He replies that he remained silent because Kian wants to stay with Anushka. Premchand acknowledges Suhasini’s concern that if Anushka stays in Aryaman’s room, it will only fuel the rumors that Aryaman lives with two women under one roof. Premchand acknowledges her concerns but hasn’t taken any further action.
