When Kian is applying ice to Anushka’s burn marks, Prince notices a wound on her left hand. He asks how she got hurt. Anushka recalls an incident last week when Sunita broke her. Sunita demands money from Anushka, which she borrowed earlier. Anushka refuses to return it, so Sunita hits her hand with a vase.
Suhasini believes Anushka’s wound was caused by injections she received at the hospital, so she makes up an excuse and sends Suhasini, Kian, and Prince out of the house. It occurs to Anushka that she dislikes children and does not wish to observe fasts for them. Disregarding the fast, she pulls a plate of laddoos from the cupboard and eats them.
While about to leave for work, Premchand asks Aryaman to tie a sacred thread around Anushka’s wrist as part of a ritual. When Aryaman enters Anushka’s room, he notices laddoo crumbs near her mouth and wonders if she has broken her fast. She lies, saying she was making laddoos for the Pooja and must have accidentally gotten crumbs near her mouth.
After Aryaman ties the sacred thread on Anushka’s wrist, he goes to Janvi and ties one on her wrist. Aryaman subtly suggests to Anushka that she should leave and then leave.
Prince later answers Sunita’s call to Anushka’s phone without knowing who it is. Sunita finds out Anushka is in the Bundela mansion and decides to get her money from there. Meanwhile, Janvi uses a herbal paste on Anushka. As a result of Aryaman’s poor treatment of Anushka, Anushka says she plans to leave the house with Kian. Janvi tells her not to make such a decision and says she’ll speak to Aryaman later.
After performing Pooja for Janvi, Kian asks Janvi to perform Pooja for him, considering her his mother. As Janvi leaves, Kian expresses his hurt and says that she hasn’t cared for him since Anushka arrived. Anushka performs Aarti with Kian during the Pooja, whereas Janvi gives Aarti to God from a distance.
