Despite feeling she made the right decision by rejecting Aryaman’s proposal, Janvi feels empty inside. Since Suhasini damaged their reputation, Nishant tries to prevent him from leaving the house. Suhasini informs Nishant that she is unable to remain in his home. Suhasini makes it clear that he—not she—will be going. Ujwala requests that Brij Bhushan halt Suhasini so she can view Bhagwan Das Ji’s sare collection. He also orders Nishant to go to his room and sends Ujwala on his way.
In fear that Pushkar might change his mind and file a police complaint, Suhasini shares her concern with Brij Bhushan. Since Brij Bhushan paid off Pushkar, that won’t happen. Suhasini suggests they arrange Aryaman and Moushumi’s engagement immediately so Janvi won’t interfere. Brij Bhushan agrees.
Moushumi and Aryaman return home and find Suyesh and Ujwala shopping for sarees. Aryaman asks Ujwala about the special occasion. Ujwala says their engagement and wedding dates will be set soon. Suddenly, Aryaman pulls Moushumi aside and tells her they have to reveal the truth about not wanting to get married to Suyesh and Ujwala. Moushumi agrees, and Aryaman says they will tell them tomorrow.
Ritu asks Janvi what is wrong. Janvi, distracted, offers oil instead of water. Ritu tells Janvi to stop being absentminded and asks her to explain. Janvi reveals Aryaman proposed to her. Ritu is excited.
In his voice, Aryaman asks Murali what he thinks about Aryaman and Moushumi’s wedding. Murali replies that Aryaman loves Janvi and comments on it. Aryaman reveals himself to Murali and says he is teasing him. Aryaman then comments on Murali’s honesty despite being scared of Brij Bhushan. Murali suggests Aryaman tell Brij Bhushan the truth about loving Janvi. According to Aryaman, Janvi rejected his proposal.
When Ritu asks Janvi why she rejected Aryaman, Janvi points out their status difference and insists it is impossible. Ritu attempts to convince Janvi to reconsider, only to discover she has been given a paint bottle instead of balm.
Aryaman informs Murali that Janvi is still upset with him for keeping his identity a secret. Murali advises Aryaman to present Janvi with a saree to gain her pardon. Aryaman chooses a saree after agreeing, but Suhasini stops him and asks why he is hiding it. Aryaman fears that she will make a scene if Suhasini finds out the gift is for Janvi.
