While Janvi feeds Kian, he tells her that he misses eating food prepared by her. Janvi admits she misses feeding him as well. Kian mentions that he does not like the food Anushka makes and comments on her. He then asks why Janvi cannot just tell Aryaman the truth. She admits that she wants to, but not at this time.
Kian asks if he can sleep on her lap, but Janvi warns him that Anushka will find out he’s with her, and the plan will fail. She gently takes Kian out of her room. On his way to Brij Bhushan’s office, Pushkar notices Janvi taking Kian to her room because he forgot his glasses.
The next day, Kian asks Anushka if she’d like to play with him, but Anushka suggests they should go to bed since it’s late at night. Kian then asks Anushka to sing him a lullaby.
In the meantime, Pushkar finds the locker keys in Brij Bhushan’s office. Ritu notices the office door open and becomes suspicious. She checks it out and finds Pushkar working in the office. After asking what he’s doing, Pushkar lies, saying he just placed an audio file in the room and leaves. Ritu remains suspicious, thinking Pushkar is trying to hide something.
After turning off the main switch, Anushka allows Pushkar to enter the Bundela mansion through the main entrance. She instructs him to exit through the corridor leading to the hotel.
As Pushkar attempts to blackmail her, Anushka plans to kill him. She turns the switch back on, places loose wires on the floor, and pours water over them, setting a deadly trap for Pushkar. As soon as Pushkar steals the money, she believes he will step into the trap and die. Using chloroform, Pushkar knocks Premchand out and searches the locker for cash. He leaves empty-handed.
As Janvi confronts Pushkar, she explains that Ritu saw him in the office and became suspicious, so she told Premchand to hide all the essential items elsewhere, not in the locker. Despite Anushka’s warning, Pushkar steps into her trap and is electrocuted.
She turns off the switch quickly and saves him. She reveals that Anushka set this trap to kill him. Pushkar, however, accuses Janvi of setting the trap, claiming that Anushka would never harm him since he has always supported her. Suhasini arrives just as they are about to leave, asking what they are doing. Janvi answers for Pushkar, saying he attempted to mediate between Anushka and her. Suhasini comments about the Joshi family and leaves.
Pushkar wonders why Janvi withheld telling Suhasini the truth. Janvi remarks on their bond and says he is her brother. She then tells Pushkar that Anushka’s earrings found near the main switch are evidence of her attempt to kill him. Seeing the earrings, Janvi asks Pushkar to help her expose Anushka. Pushkar decides to face Anushka.
Pushkar walks to Anushka and questions whether she tried to kill him with electricity and water. Anushka denials it. When Pushkar asks her where her earrings are, Anushka replies they are on her table. But Pushkar treats her suspiciously when she shows her the earring she discovered next to the main switch.
