As Lakshmi tells Mangal that Rohan called off the engagement without explaining why, Gayatri says she will not leave Maya’s family. Shanti breaks down, and Gayatri leaves. Kusum also leaves with Gayatri. Adit mocks Mangal and leaves.
Kusum asks Mangal to care for Lakshmi. Lakshmi tells Karthik she feels worse for Mangal than she does for Mangal. To get the truth, she asks Karthik to send a voice message to Rohan and not leave this matter until you get the truth. Someone calls Karthik. Karthik leaves.
Lakshmi sends a voice message to Rohan, while Shanti causes chaos in the house and wrongly accuses Lakshmi. Mangal intervenes, reminding her not always to blame the girl. Meanwhile, Lakshmi is receiving multiple messages from Rohan. According to her, he has sent an abundance of messages. Mangal urges her to look at them, and when she does, she discovers doctored pictures of herself with Nithin. Shanti takes the phone and shows Lipika the incriminating images in a fit of rage. Then, another audio message arrives from Rohan stating how fortunate his family was to uncover Lakshmi’s true character before it was too late. Enraged by this revelation, Shanti lashes out at Lakshmi, who defends herself by claiming that the photos and videos are all fake and that she is innocent. As tensions rise, Mangal steps in and receives a slap intended for Lakshmi.
When Shanti asks Mangal if she still supports Lakshmi, he says she trusts her. Lakshmi hugs him and says the video is fake. Mangal rebukes Shanti for trusting Nithin. Lakshmi tells Mangal about how Nithin trapped her and how she escaped. Lakshmi says she never imagined Nithin would sink so low. Shanti says Nithin will do more against them. Mangal says they must stop him.
Adit is shocked when Kusum tells him how Nithin stopped Lakshmi from sending forgery videos for her engagement. Lakshmi sees Mangal is not at home. She asks Shanti and Lipika about him. Lipika tells her that Mangal went to Nitin’s house, but Shanti stops her. Shanti taunts Lakshmi.
He tells his mother that because he stopped Lakshmi’s engagement, no one is going to marry her now. Nithin’s mother comments that they are already scared. Mangal comments on them. Nithin asks her what she is doing at his house. Mangal asks why he looks scared seeing her. Nithin smiles and asks Lakshmi to show him what she is afraid of. Lakshmi is not weak, Mangal tells him, and he asks him to see what she will do to him.
