Gayatri’s husband approaches her and inquires about the situation. She appears upset and Adit comments that she is unable to cope with everything. It must be frustrating for her. Kusum suggests that Karthik and Omesh can handle it, to which Adit agrees and adds that their house is in a terrible condition. Mangal concurs, mentioning that he has been considering getting some repairs done in their home. However, he adds sarcastically that he might as well use his entire salary on their house. Kusum suggests asking Gayatri’s mother to clean the house, as she doesn’t even care for it. Gayatri had not complained during the wedding, but Kusum feels that what happened was wrong. She acknowledges that Gayatri always takes care of Lakshmi, though.
According to Sanjana, Gayatri was welcomed with plaster. Lakshmi asks her, “Are you okay? Should I massage your head?” She says sorry maa. Omesh says forgive her. Gayatri leaves in anger. Omesh says she will be okay in a few minutes. She comes back with oil and tells Lakshmi to massage it.
What have you thought about Ishana’s exams? How will she prepare? Find a good tuition teacher. Adit says Somaiya said she’d come from tomorrow onwards.
It doesn’t feel right for Mangal. She is already too busy. I asked about Ishana’s classmate’s mother. They have a teacher teaching their son. Kusum agreed. Mangal responded yes, that’s fine. Sanjana says she will never be able to live up to you. Karthik doesn’t even care about her. How can we love this girl, who isn’t even her husband’s choice?
She cuts Mangal’s call after Lakshmi cries. She says I don’t know what happened after they got home. Mangal is worried about her. Lakshmi texts her they’re having dinner. She’s going to call later. Mangal asks Lakshmi if everything is okay? She says yes, everything is okay. She tells him, “I’m all alone, didi.” Love isn’t in my fate. She cries.
Then Kartik arrives. He gives Lakshmi a flower. He says don’t cry. Lakshmi apologizes after what happened. I’m so embarrassed. He says none of that was your mistake. It’s fine. Don’t overthink. He says I should apologize because of Vidhi’s comments. She says sometimes she thinks you miss Jiya and your feelings so much right? No one is as pure as you, he says.
Ishana, your teacher, is here. Put your bags away. She opens the door, and Somaiya enters. Mangal and Kusum are stunned.
