The episode begins with Mangal questioning Adit about the perfume she found in his bag. She says it clearly looks like a woman’s perfume. Adit lies, claiming it is for his mother, but Mangal points out that the bottle is half-used. Adit brushes her off, saying it must have leaked and quickly leaves for work, leaving Mangal uneasy.

At Karthik’s house, Lakshmi prays silently that Mangal discovers Adit’s truth soon. Karthik accidentally spills water on Lakshmi’s notebook before reading it, ruining her attempt to reveal the secret. Later, he video calls Mangal, showing her that Lakshmi is recovering. Mangal is relieved and tells Lakshmi she prayed hard for her recovery. Lakshmi forces a smile, but in her heart, she recalls the divorce papers and worries Mangal still doesn’t know Adit’s real intentions.

Meanwhile, Mangal again brings up the perfume to Kusum. But Kusum denies receiving any perfume from Adit, confusing Mangal further. She begins to feel that Adit is definitely hiding something from her.

Elsewhere, Adit meets Soumya and angrily asks why she kept her perfume in his bag. Soumya dismisses it lightly, mocking Mangal as “dumb” and unable to think for herself. She then asks about her ring, and Adit assures her that he has bought it. However, Adit soon receives a threatening call from a stranger who has photographs of him with Soumya. The caller demands 10 lakhs or else he will expose their affair. Adit is shaken and tries to hide his panic.

Back at home, Akshar asks Adit to sign his school form, and in the process, Adit accidentally drops the diamond ring meant for Soumya. Ishana picks it up and happily shows it to Mangal and Kusum. Shocked, Mangal asks where it came from. Akshar innocently says that their father had it. Kusum assumes it’s for Mangal, as Adit didn’t gift her anything on their anniversary. Pressured, Adit pretends it’s for Mangal and even makes her wear the ring. Though Kusum is delighted, Mangal is doubtful. Adit, worried, later tries to take the ring back, making a flimsy excuse about engraving the anniversary date. The ring gets stuck, and Mangal has to oil her finger to remove it.

At Lakshmi’s place, Kusum visits her. She tells Lakshmi that Mangal will soon come from the market and also mentions the family’s upcoming pooja. Karthik continues caring for Lakshmi despite Gayatri’s taunts that he is overdoing it. Kusum asks Karthik to help Ishana with a song for her competition. While looking through his notebook, Lakshmi panics when the divorce papers accidentally slip into Kusum’s hands along with some other pages. She prays Kusum doesn’t see them, fearing Adit’s truth might still remain hidden.

In the market, Mangal has a shocking encounter with Soumya. Soumya is buying a lehenga for her wedding and also orders a sherwani for her “husband-to-be.” While leaving, her dupatta gets stuck in Mangal’s hand. Soumya rudely pulls it away, and Mangal is stunned to see her there.
