Adit gives Mangal the bouquet. Somaiya doesn’t like it. Karthik says they are such a perfect couple. Adit asks if we need more drama or if we can have dinner. Mangal serves dinner. Ait says to Mangal, “Ask your sister to stop acting like an uneducated kid on pooja day.” It’s a movie day, so think about whether I’d bring flowers for you. See how you dress and look. These are flowers from yesterday’s office.
Lakshmi comments on how fresh the flowers look, mentioning that they were obtained today. She then exclaims, asking if the person is spying on them. Requesting to talk privately and with proper manners, she reminds them that not every guy engages in such dramatic behaviour and that her luck has been unfortunate. He excuses himself from the conversation while Mangal apologizes for his outburst. Somaiya announces her departure as Adit suggests leaving after dinner. She regrets coming, to which he expresses his apologies and remorse. The children are pressured into giving her flowers as he assures her of his loyalty. She clarifies that she cannot be compared to Mangal as she believes she is superior. Finally, she points out that he gave Mangal flowers meant for her.
Mangal apologizes to Lakshmi, who then mentions that Adit tends to become angry. She clarified that she witnessed him purchasing the flowers, and he became upset when she pointed it out. Mangal advises her not to be a spy, to which Somaiya responds by expressing her certainty about his love for her. He compliments her understanding nature, and she explains that she is not petty, unlike others. She admits to doing everything for the house but feels overlooked by his family. He expresses his regret and does not know what else to say. She adds that she wanted to keep the card as recognition for her efforts rather than for Mangal to receive it. However, Mangal suggests there may be a misunderstanding in this situation.
Stop overthinking about Adit. Lakshmi says I have a video. Mangal says enough. If you say anything more about Adit, I’ll forget you’re my sister. Lakshmi cries and hugs her. She says she will always be her sister. Mangal hugs her. She apologizes. She says she got stressed. Don’t say such things. Lakshmi says I worry about you. I’m your sister, so your happiness matters to me. Is everything going well between you and Adit?
Mangal has a sharp memory, constantly recalling past events. According to her, everything is going well, and there are no problems. Although her husband gets easily upset, she admits that she also sometimes makes mistakes. They both tend to lose control of their emotions. On top of that, he has a stressful job in the office. Lakshmi chimes in, saying that Mangal didn’t need to apologize to Somaiya for his behaviour. However, Mangal explains that she wanted to prevent the situation from worsening, especially since it was her family’s pooja (religious ceremony). Somaiya then expresses her disapproval of Adit giving flowers to Mangal. He suggests going on a long drive together the next day. Somaiya questions if he can leave, but Adit assures her that no one can stop him from meeting her.
The following day, Lakshmi and Mangal prepare for the pooja while Adit prepares to leave. Curious, Mangal asks, “Are you going somewhere?” Irritated, Adit responds, “Why do you always have to ask? Am I a child who needs to report to you?” Defensively, he adds, “I have work.” Trying to diffuse the situation, she suggests that they start the pooja. But he retorts, “Am I the Pandit? I can’t stay.” Kusum indicates that Adit should have declined his work commitment and joined them for prayers. She believes that praying together as a couple brings blessings to life. However, Mangal explained that a meeting was scheduled at night, making it difficult for Adit to attend. Growing more frustrated, Adit shares his thoughts of quitting his job and focusing solely on performing pooja. In a fit of anger, he throws his bag down.
In response to my question, Mangal says you only spoil my mood by doing that. Lakshmi says she just asked you to stay for the pooja. Adit says I’m speaking to Mangal. You don’t need to be involved, he says. Kusum says it’s MahaShivratri pooja, that’s why she asked. He says you know, I wouldn’t say I like being questioned like that. She says okay, come fast. He says I have to leave. Somya calls him, and he says I have to leave. He says I am receiving calls from the office.
Adit comes to meet Somaiya. He says he told everyone I was going to meet Sobu for work. They questioned so much. Mangal is asking a lot these days. She says she has no right to do that. You’re not compatible with her. She has no quality to be your wife. She is lucky to have such a classy husband like you. He says that I get angry thinking about her. We shouldn’t think about her. Today, she’s driving. I’ve got a surprise for you.
Mangal and her family perform pooja together, and Mangal notes that the children are now asleep. She debates whether or not to call Adit, worried about his potential anger. Adit and Somaiya are traveling on a highway as she begins the ritual. Adit questions their destination, and she replies they are headed to see the Taj Mahal in Agra. Despite expressing concern about the distance and time, Mangal remains determined to go today, finding it more exciting than postponing for another day. Eventually, their car collides with a truck due to the late hour.
Lakshmi asks what happened. She says something doesn’t feel right. Papa says we can start the pooja after Adit comes. Papa gets a call. He shouts in shock. He says what? Adit. Mangal asks what happened.
They rush to the hospital, where Mangal asks which room Adit is in. Karthik also arrives. Lakshmi says they don’t know which room he’s in. They cry. Kusum cries and says I am so worried for him. Mangal says I stopped him from going to the meeting. Karthik asked where he was going. Lakshmi asks what he is going to do there. They found the car in Agra. They are all shocked.
