The episode begins with the Ravan Dahan event. The host announces that Mangal and Adit will perform the ritual together. Just then, Karthik and Lakshmi arrive, and Mangal compliments Lakshmi for looking beautiful, saying Karthik dressed her up well. Lakshmi secretly worries if Mangal discovered the divorce papers but realises no one has seen them yet.
As the ceremony begins, the blackmailer calls Adit, making him anxious. Mangal insists they should go forward as everyone is waiting. During the aarti, Mangal and Adit perform the ritual together and light the effigy. Suddenly, a masked man approaches and tells Mangal there is a “Ravan” in her life too, hinting that she should pray for that Ravan to burn as well. Adit panics, but the man leaves quickly. Mangal is puzzled while Adit dismisses it.
Meanwhile, Soumya waits for Adit, hoping he arrives before 7 PM as instructed by the pandit. The blackmailer corners Adit near the crowd, warning him that his time is running out. Adit tries to brush him off, but Soumya keeps calling, further irritating him. Soumya assumes Adit doesn’t value their relationship and leaves upset.
The blackmailer finally reveals himself – it is Daksh. Shocked, Adit confronts him, asking why he is blackmailing even after receiving money. Daksh angrily explains that because of Adit, Soumya, and Lakshmi, the police were after him. He demands more money, threatening to expose Adit’s affair. Helpless, Adit gives him some cash, but in the scuffle, the diamond ring meant for Soumya falls. Daksh picks it up, refusing to return it. Mangal, witnessing Adit with Daksh, grows suspicious.
Soon after, Soumya finds Adit and ties a protective thread to his hand as per the pandit’s instructions. She reminds him of their upcoming Karwa Chauth wedding and warns him not to let Mangal come between them. Adit half-heartedly promises her. Meanwhile, Mangal questions Daksh about his involvement with Soumya. Surprisingly, Daksh denies any relationship with her, claiming he doesn’t care about her and has no intention of marrying her. Mangal is left shocked.
Back at the event, Kusum informs Mangal that Adit is busy with work, asking her to perform Ravan Dahan alone. Though upset, Mangal agrees, symbolically completing the ritual as Sita. On the other side, Soumya forces Adit into exchanging rings. She places a ring on his finger but is disappointed when Adit cannot give her one in return, blaming Daksh for stealing it.
Later, Mangal meets Lakshmi, sharing her doubts. She tells Lakshmi that Soumya bought a wedding dress but her so-called boyfriend, Daksh, denied any ties with her. Lakshmi panics, hiding the truth about Adit.
At home, Adit tries to calm Soumya, promising to get her another ring. Soumya, however, worries that their secret affair will be exposed. Adit reassures her with a hug, vowing to stay by her side.
When Mangal later gives Adit prasad, she directly questions him about his meeting with Daksh. Adit lies, saying Daksh only asked him to inform Soumya about their breakup. Mangal remains suspicious, wondering who Soumya is really marrying.
