Adit is on his way to meet Mangal but ends up being interrupted. Mayank apologizes, explaining that he received an urgent call. Meanwhile, Mangal invites Adit to join them. Kusum also has good news – they have found a potential match for Adit. Excitedly, Adit and Somiya arrive at the temple to tie the knot. Mangal sends him a photo of Somiya to keep Mayank in the loop. As they begin the marriage rituals, Somiya asks Adit to mark her hairline with sindoor. Adit lovingly complies and then puts the mangalsutra around her neck. Suddenly, Shalini and Somiya’s father appear out of nowhere. Perplexed, Shalini asks what’s happening here?

Adit and Somiya are stunned. Shalini asks, “Isn’t that the man from your workplace?” “Is he the one you planned to wed?” “Why did you keep it a secret?” “Something must be amiss.” Somiya quickly defends, “There is nothing wrong with him. We love each other and want to spend our lives together.” Shalini raises her hand to slap her.

Somiya grasps her hand firmly, urging her to avoid any unnecessary theatrics. “I will marry the person of my choosing,” she declares as she turns to face her disapproving mother. “If you’re here, bless me and be done with it.” However, her pleas fall on deaf ears as her mother refuses to offer blessings. With no one from the groom’s family in attendance, both women will be left without their mothers’ blessings. At that moment, Somiya proclaims that this woman before her is no longer her daughter; she may as well be dead to her. As tears fill Somiya’s eyes, Adit inquires about what has transpired. She explains tearfully that she had hoped to see her mother at the ceremony and shares how devastated she feels at the thought of not having her mother’s support. Somiya suggests starting the ritual to move past the hurtful exchange.

The falling bell strikes Somiya, but Adit comes to her rescue. Pandit Ji expresses concern over this unfortunate incident, which may not bode well for the couple’s future. He reminds them to consider their parents’ feelings before the wedding. Meanwhile, Adit contemplates his relationship with Mangal, and Shalini overhears gossip about their imminent marriage, which is halted due to a perceived bad omen. However, Somiya dismisses these superstitions and insists on continuing the wedding as planned.

Adit explains to Somiya that they cannot get married at the moment as he has a gut feeling that something is off. Somiya responds by questioning his belief in superstition. He clarifies that he is already legally married and cannot marry her. She then asks if he genuinely finds everything wrong and plans to abandon her, despite standing in front of him as a bride. She expresses her frustration and tells him to leave. He pleads with her to listen, but she forcefully removes her hand and walks away.

Sudesh inquires about the girl you have chosen for Mayank, and Mayank reveals that she is Shalini’s daughter. Although I have not met her, I have heard fantastic things about her parents. They promised to send us a photo, and we will meet them later today. If you believe they are good people, I am entirely on board with this decision.

Somiya arrives home seething with anger. She questions her decision to trust that man. Adit reaches out to her, but she declines the call. Shalini then contacts Somiya and persuades her to meet a potential suitor today. Assuring her that they will support her decision, Shalini requests Somiya to at least give him a chance. Somiya agrees, telling her mother that Adit will regret his actions now. Mayank expresses full faith in both of them for handling this process.

Adit arrives and inquires about seeing the girl. Mangal informs him that they came across a lovely family today. Adit expresses doubt about Mangal’s findings. Mayank jokingly tells him not to ruin the mood. Kusum suggests that he joins them as well. Adit questions what he would do there, to which Mayank asks Mangal how he puts up with his grumpy attitude. Mangal clarifies that he is not angry. Eventually, Adit agrees to join them.

Somiya prepares to leave when Adit contacts her, apologizing and asking for forgiveness. She invites him to meet at the cafe at 5, but he requests a different location. However, she insists on only meeting there. Just as Mangal arrives, Adit mentions reserving a table and arriving early.
