Somiya then turns to Adit and prompts him to share his response. He reminds her that Amma has already answered. The bottle lands on Mangal next. Somiya poses a hypothetical scenario, asking Mangal how she would react if someone tried to take her husband away from her. Mangal passionately declares that Adit is her entire universe, and anyone who dares threaten him will face the consequences. She affirms her readiness to defend her world, much like a protective lioness fiercely.
According to Mayank, you are correct. He believes that once you are married, you will understand it. The responsibility of making a decision now falls on Somiya. Rather boldly, she decides to take the dare. Kusum encourages her to ask for Mayank’s hand in marriage. Somiya requests a brief two-minute break before proceeding. Meanwhile, Adit excuses himself for a phone call. Somiya assures him he can attend to it later and presents Mayank with roses and proposes, “Will you marry me?” Adit becomes upset and exits the room while everyone else applauds the proposal. Without hesitation, Mayank agrees to marry her.
Gayatri answers the door and sees Karthik standing there. She reminds him, “Hey, aren’t you supposed to be at the concert?” Just then, Lakshmi joins them. Karthik explains, “I waited for her, but she went to the wrong hall.” Lakshmi remembers that Gayatri had mistakenly told her the wrong location. Frustrated, Gayatri retorts, “I gave you the correct address. You always seem so confused. Why did you have to call Karthik?” Lakshmi defends herself, “I called you multiple times.” Gayatri secretly thinks to herself, “I purposely blocked her calls.”
Karthik insists that he called her personally, feeling anxious about her well-being. He went to fetch her, although he was behind schedule. Gayatri warned him she would harm his career, but Karthik assured her everything was resolved. Gayatri criticized the other person for being careless and assured Karthik that their job would not be affected. Lakshmi apologized, but he reassured her that there was no need to worry and everything was under control. Karthik then suggested to Lakshmi that they do something special for the festival the following day as it would please their mother. He even offered an idea to help with preparations, which made Lakshmi grateful, leading her to embrace him in gratitude.
The bottle comes to a rest in front of Kusum. Mangal inquires, “Do you have any dreams?” Kusum responds, “Yes, I want you to be self-sufficient.” Suddenly, the lights go out. Mayank heads off to check the fuse while Mangal approaches Akshar. Adit pulls Somiya away, and she worries about being caught. She tells Adit they are no longer together, but he declares that she still belongs to him. She reminds him she gave him many chances, but he left her at the temple. He retorts that she does not love Mayank and will end up in a relationship like his with Mangal. She pleads with him to leave her alone.
Adit asks, “Will you marry me?” Kusum wonders, “Where did Somiya go?” Adit clarifies, “Understand me. I do have a plan.” He adds, “Getting married that day could have landed us in jail.” He expresses his desire for Kusum to have the same respect as Mangal. He admits, “I was thinking about you.” Later, when Kusum searches for Somiya, she finds her in Mangal’s room. Surprised, she asks, “What are you doing here?” Somiya explains that she was looking for Mayank and ended up there unintentionally.
Kusum informs you that marriage is in your near future, so proceeding with caution is essential. Somiya acknowledges her warning and exits the room. Unbeknownst to them, Adit is secretly observing the conversation from behind the sofa. Once Somiya has left, Kusum begins searching for Adit. He immediately senses his mother’s suspicions and joins the others downstairs. Mangal suggests they start serving the food, and Kusum heads down. Adit then joins them for dinner.
Akshar inquires if Mangal will be joining for rakhi today. Adit mentions that she has been occupied with her studies. Mangal wonders if she can bring her along. Adit then advises against it, reminding Mangal to allow Ishana to focus on her studies and not follow in the same footsteps as herself. As Adit heads out for work, Kusum checks in on Mangal’s well-being, to which she responds positively. Meanwhile, Mangal gets ready to tie rakhi on Lakshmi’s wrist when Ishana unexpectedly calls, leaving Mangal surprised and taken aback.
