The festive atmosphere begins with Kusum asking the mehndi artist to write Mangal and Adit’s names on each other’s hands. Ishana and Lakshmi start dancing joyfully, and Mangal soon joins them on the dance floor. Hidden nearby, Soumya watches everything unfold, clearly shocked. Meanwhile, Karthik pulls Adit into the celebration, where he dances with Lakshmi while Adit dances happily with Mangal. Soumya fumes in silence.
As the performance continues, Karthik praises the couple, calling them a perfect match. Lakshmi receives a phone call and steps outside. Mangal and Adit perform a dance to “Mahi Ve.” During the celebration, Akshar accidentally spills juice on Mangal. She assures everyone it’s alright and heads off to clean up. Soumya sees this as her opportunity and steps out of her hiding place in the flower basket, determined to expose the truth to Mangal.
Outside, Lakshmi finds a wallet—it’s Adit’s. Suspicious, she recalls the open bathroom window and shoes she saw earlier. She confronts Adit, asking how his wallet ended up outside. Adit dismisses her suspicion, accusing her of being overly dramatic and trying to ruin the event. He refuses to explain further, telling her to mind her own business. Shanti overhears their conversation and becomes more doubtful.
Later, Shanti heads to a room and sees Adit with a girl—it’s Soumya. She immediately calls Kusum, exclaiming that she wishes she hadn’t lived to see this day. Kusum, Lakshmi, and others rush in and see Adit with Soumya. Kusum is stunned, questioning what’s going on. Lakshmi confronts Adit again, accusing him of sneaking out to meet Soumya.
Just as tension peaks, Mangal walks up and touches Soumya’s hand—only to discover it’s a mannequin dressed in a saree. Everyone is shocked. Adit explains that he had indeed sneaked out—not to meet Soumya, but to surprise Mangal. He shares how he had gone to get the saree she couldn’t buy earlier due to a shop fire. Wanting to make the moment special, he displayed the saree on a mannequin.
Adit apologizes to Mangal for lying and explains his intentions were good. Mangal, visibly moved, thanks him for the thoughtful gesture and apologizes for doubting him. Kusum admits they all made a mistake by jumping to conclusions. Shanti blames Lakshmi for starting the drama.
Adit, frustrated, confronts Lakshmi, asking why she always wants to prove him wrong. Karthik tries to defend her, but Adit lashes out, comparing himself to Karthik, saying he’s not charming or musical—just an ordinary office-going man. Kusum scolds Lakshmi and tells her to apologize. Karthik tries to ease the situation by clarifying Lakshmi only shared what she saw, not intending to create a scene.
