Mangal dips her hand into the bowl of water and screams in pain as her hand burns. Kusum rushes to her, and Ishana starts crying, insisting that the water was not hot and that she had checked it herself. Soumya pretends to act innocent, saying water doesn’t get that hot at room temperature. Mangal calms Ishana and says she knows her daughter would never harm her intentionally. Kusum asks for the burn cream, but Soumya mocks Mangal, saying maids do not need soft hands since no one is going to hold them anyway. Enraged, Kusum warns Soumya to stop speaking or she will slap her.

As Mangal bends down to clean the mess, she notices an earring floating in the hot water. Soumya quickly leaves the room. Realising the truth, Mangal understands that Soumya was behind the incident. She quietly tells Kusum that Soumya did it deliberately. Kusum helps Mangal with her food orders, and Mangal takes off her earrings, planning her next move.

Elsewhere, Jiya calls Gayatri. Gayatri accuses her of threatening her, but Jiya denies it and warns her never to come between her and Karthik. She confidently declares that Karthik will be hers no matter what.

Back at home, Soumya walks into the kitchen and finds a glass of juice on the counter. Assuming Adit made it for her, she drinks it and praises the taste. Just then, Mangal enters holding the earring she found. Soumya is shocked. Mangal asks her to think carefully about where she lost it. Suddenly, Soumya starts coughing and says her throat hurts. Mangal smiles and asks if she doesn’t like her juice. She adds that since Soumya orders food every day, she decided to make pineapple juice for her. Soumya panics, reminding her that she is allergic to pineapple.

Mangal looks at her coldly and apologises, saying she forgot about her allergy. Soumya desperately searches for her medicine while gasping for breath. She accuses Mangal of trying to harm her. Mangal replies that she only added black pepper, not pineapple, and wanted to see how guilty she feels. She confronts Soumya, saying she knows she poured boiling water in the tub and dropped her earring there. Mangal scolds her for blaming Ishana and tells her to have some shame. Soumya pleads for her medicine, but Mangal says she will give it only if she confesses her actions before everyone. Soumya yells at her and says she would never do something like that. Mangal firmly warns her to stay away from her children, saying she can do anything to protect her family.

Meanwhile, Gayatri tells Karthik that they should celebrate his career comeback and asks if he has invited everyone. He replies that he has, except for one person. When Lakshmi asks who it is, Gayatri changes the topic and starts discussing party arrangements. She suggests hiring a professional chef, but Lakshmi says her sister can cook. Gayatri insists on handling everything herself, saying she knows how to host fine dining events. Karthik interrupts, saying he already asked Mangal to cater for them because he wanted to do something different. Gayatri gets upset, saying if everything is already decided, she has nothing to add. She walks away angrily, saying at least the dessert will not be traditional sweets.

Lakshmi asks Karthik if he has told his mother yet. He says not yet but will soon. Lakshmi smiles and thanks him for supporting her sister.

At her home, Mangal struggles to use her burned hands but continues cooking. Karthik calls her and says he needs a chef for a small party. He compliments her skills and says he cannot think of anyone better. Mangal feels happy but hesitates, asking if Gayatri is fine with it. Karthik assures her that Lakshmi has already spoken to her. Relieved, Mangal agrees and begins preparing for the event with excitement.

At Adit’s home, Soumya takes away his sandwich and scolds him for eating. He tells her he made it himself because he was hungry. Soumya accuses him of eating food made by Mangal, saying he still loves his ex-wife. Adit gets frustrated and says she is being unreasonable. Soumya angrily says Mangal has manipulated him. When Adit opens his lunchbox at work, he finds it empty. Soumya tells him she just wanted to make it look like she packed food for him. Adit gets upset, saying he cannot live on restaurant food every day. Soumya smiles and serves him food, saying it’s home-cooked. Adit tastes it and praises it, saying it’s delicious. Soumya proudly says the home chef who made it has made him smile again. Adit enjoys the meal without realising it was prepared by Mangal.
