Ishana reaches out to Somiya, while Lakshmi contacts Mangal to inform her that her phone has been fixed. She then asks if Mangal could complete the payment, to which Mangal confirms and adds that it was a simple task thanks to Lakshmi’s teaching. Lakshmi praises Mangal for learning so quickly and calls her a super mother.
Ishana informed Somiya that they have a competition with a rule that requires a mother-daughter dance. However, Ishana mentioned that her mother cannot dance, and she does not want to dance with her. She asked Somiya if she would be willing to dance with her instead. Just then, Mangal asked if Ishana had notified her friend about participating. Ishana reassured him that she had already informed her friends about it.
Mangal glances at her competition form and then passes it to Ishana, who confidently declares she will take care of its submission. Mangal praises her, knowing that she always gives her best effort. However, Ishana expresses concern about her mother’s potential embarrassment and asks Somiya to accompany her. Somiya jokingly responds that Ishana will have to plead with her. Meanwhile, Lipika messaged Somiya about the earrings and asked her to purchase them. Frustrated, she calls Adit and complains about Lipika’s unreasonable demands. Adit reassures Somiya that he knows how to handle her, instructs her to buy the earrings, and invites Lipika to meet at the cafe instead.
Kusum enters Adit’s room and immediately accuses him of being a liar. She reveals that she knows he would claim to have bought the same dress that Somiya has. In a turn of events, Kusum discovers Somiya’s text on Adit’s phone, stating she will arrive with the earrings. As Kusum exits the room, Mangal receives a call on Adit’s phone and notes that he forgot it. He instructs the caller to bring it to their current location.
Sanjana asks Gayatri if she will celebrate Lakhsmi’s first savan properly. Gayatri then prompts Lakshmi to choose something, but Lakshmi asks her mother to pick for her. Karthik steps in to assist Lakshmi in making her selection. Sanjana invites them to come and show which one they like for Lakshmi. Meanwhile, Gayatri mentions that Karthik had gone for a recording, and he explains that he had forgotten his wallet. She then tells him to take it and go. Gayatri also reminds Lakshmi that she is capable of picking a saree herself.
Karthik suggests a specific option for her to purchase. Gayatri then recommends the alternate option. Upon his return, Karthik reveals that he has personally selected the green one for her and asks for it to be retrieved. Sanjana responds, complimenting his romantic gesture. He also admits to picking out a saree for their mother before excusing himself. Lakshmi offers to get the other option, but Gayatri dismisses it. Feeling sympathetic towards Lakshmi, Sanjana expresses pity for her situation.
Mangal is looking to give Adit a phone. He comes across Ishana’s friend’s mother, who informs him that both mother and daughter must dance together. Mangal exclaims, “Oh, really? Ishana never mentioned that to me.”
Kusum declares that she will catch Ishana in the act today. In response, Mangal brings up a topic about competition to share with Kusum. However, Kusum explained that she had to attend an important event elsewhere.
Lakshmi approaches Gayatri and expresses gratitude for her forgiveness and for selecting a lehnga. She plans to wear that particular lehnga to the Savan function. However, Gayatri questions this, stating that she hasn’t forgiven Lakshmi or given her permission to attend the function.
Kusum inquires Mangal, “What’s the matter?” Mangal responds, “Both the mother and daughter have to perform a dance routine together.” Kusum encourages her by saying, “You’ve got this.” She then adds that it is a competition and expresses her concern about not wanting her partner to lose because of her. However, she admits, “I’m not sure I can do it.” Kusum reassures her by saying, “You can do it.” She suggests practicing with their partner.
Gayatri accused you of humiliating my son, and I still haven’t forgiven you for it. Look, here comes Kusum to the cafe! Oh, you’re here? She confirms, explaining that she needs to meet someone there. Would you mind picking up some items for the competition while I do that?
