She hands Mangal a matchbox instead. Mangal uses her presence of mind, lights the stove with a clever trick, and surprises everyone watching.
Bhabhiji praises Mangal for her intelligence and skill. Sowmya, refusing to accept defeat, announces that the real test is yet to come. She asks Mangal to prepare the soup without lumps. Mangal uses a slow dripping water method and stirs continuously. Contestants applaud her creativity and determination. As Bhabhiji instructs everyone to continue their tasks, Mangal begins preparing chawal.
Bhabhiji reminds Sowmya that if Mangal completes the task, her points will drop. Determined to stop Mangal from winning, Sowmya interferes again. She demands roti instead of chawal. Mangal explains that the task cannot be changed midway, but Sowmya insists. Mangal then kneads the dough using a sealed packet, managing everything with one hand. Everyone admires her bravery and resilience. Even the contestants admit they would never be able to perform such a task in her place.
As Mangal nears completion, Sowmya vows she will not let her win. Mangal goes to place her kulfi in the fridge, only to discover that the fridge is not working. Sowmya smirks, proud of the sabotage she created. Bhabhiji announces that ten minutes remain. Mangal quickly spots a gas based method to prepare her kulfi. As she reaches for it, Sowmya secretly releases her grip, letting Mangal walk on a floor scattered with hidden marbles. Mangal balances herself, avoids the trap, and completes her dishes just as time runs out. Sowmya is left defeated.
Bhabhiji tastes the food and praises Mangal for not giving up under pressure. She declares that Mangal has qualified for the next round. As Sowmya walks away in anger, a few marbles roll unexpectedly. Mangal rushes forward to stop Sowmya from slipping. In doing so, she falls, and a gas can tumbles beside her, spilling a chemical liquid into her eyes. Mangal screams in pain while everyone around her panics.
Adit receives a call from his boss and rushes to the venue. Mangal keeps saying she cannot open her eyes. Ritu confronts Sowmya and reminds her that Mangal saved both her and her daughter. Sowmya coldly replies that good things happen to good people and bad things to bad people, shocking everyone. Bhabhiji overhears and scolds the contestants, calling them heartless for letting such cruelty happen. She orders Sowmya to take Mangal to the hospital, but Sowmya refuses, saying she is stressed and walks away.
Bhabhiji then calls for her PA. Adit enters wearing a mask, trying to hide from Sowmya and avoid revealing that he works for Bhabhiji. Before she can question him further, the doctor arrives to check on Mangal. He explains that Mangal needs eye drops every two hours or she may face permanent eye damage. She must not stay alone or cook until she recovers. Mangal becomes emotional thinking about her children and responsibilities.
Meanwhile, Sowmya relaxes in her room applying a face pack. When Kusum calls out for Mangal’s medicine, Sowmya pretends not to hear and increases the volume of her music. Kusum becomes worried about why she suddenly felt Mangal’s name slip from her mouth.
Bhabhiji arranges for Mangal to be dropped home safely. She instructs Adit to take her. Adit panics, worried that Mangal will recognise his voice and learn he works as Bhabhiji’s PA. Even so, he gently guides her and takes her home as the episode ends.
