Ruchika instructs Adit to bring his wife to the stage. He leaves Somiya and takes Mangal with him. Somiya becomes upset. Ruchika praises Mangal for her responsibility, stating that Adit’s awards are thanks to her efforts. She also mentions that Mangal sacrificed her award to support Adit’s colleagues, and he doesn’t take any days off because of her support. Ruchika then asks Somiya to make a video and praises Mangal’s hard work, saying that it leads to success rather than modern attire. Adit presents Mangal with a trophy, and Ruchika invites her to say a few words on the podium. However, Adit jokingly warns that she might embarrass him in front of everyone today.
Lakshmi answers for Mangal. Nidhi comes looking for Indu in the kitchen. She leaves with Lakshmi. Do you want anything, Lakshmi asks? Should I craft anything for you? Did you substitute Nidhi’s place? You are used to serving others. Laughing, she replies your chachi made you a maid. Lakshmi feels I would be fine helping my family. You are low class, Nidhi says. Even Indo is more refined than your level. You may start working for her as an assistant. Gayatri arrives there and yells enough. She yells behave yourself and tosses clothing at Nidhi.
Mangal expresses her gratitude for the award and cooking for others, explaining that their smiles are the greatest reward. She thanks Ruchika ji and Deshpal ji for selecting her and admits she is in disbelief about receiving the trophy. She reveals she has always avoided Adit’s office but credits her mother for teaching and encouraging her. Mangal’s children will be thrilled by her win, and she wants to sincerely thank Adit, who she believes is responsible for her success. Despite being a successful and progressive individual, Adit chose to marry a Hindi medium girl like Mangal. He jokingly says she will only embarrass him, but Mangal insists that the trophy truly belongs to him as he is the pillar of their household. Deshpal adds that although Adit may think otherwise, Mangal contributes most to their family’s success. He asks Adit to share his thoughts on this accomplishment.
Adit expresses his gratitude, saying he is fortunate to have Mangal in his life. She has constantly supported and cared for everything at home while he focuses on work. Despite not being highly educated, she is from a simple family, and Adit’s mother chose her to be his wife. He acknowledges that their work achievements pale compared to all that Mangal does. He thanks his mother and proclaims his love for Mangal, stating that her presence today makes him very happy. He also values her contributions greatly, making Mangal both bashful and joyful. However, Somiya seems upset by this display of affection and Adit reassures Mangal never to change herself.
The angry Somiya leaves the temple. She says I hate Mangal. Kusum brings Adit and Mangal to the temple. It is because of God that we came here. Our son and wife received awards. Adit says yeah, Mangal did everything. Kusum says I am so glad I made that choice. He asks if we can do pooja and leave now. Adit is angry with Mangal. Pandit Ji asks Adit to fill in Sindoor. He says what’s all this about? Adit fills her hairline. Kusum says to stay happy always. He leaves.
Adit says, “What is this stupidity?” Kusum asks, “What do you mean?” He tells her that her sindoor is in danger, and someone wants to take her home.
