Adit says give me salt Somaiya. Somaiya says sorry. Kusum says what? Is your mind elsewhere? Keep your office at home? Adit says I am very stressed at work, so I took Somaiya’s name. Kusum says I know. That’s why I said leave them there when you come home. She said Mangal made your favorite dish. Mangal served it.
Gayatri makes Karthik eat. He says I don’t feel like eating. Gayatri says she doesn’t care about your emotions. She was so cruel to you. Don’t behave this way. I can’t see you in this state. Gayatri says you need to come out of this state. God will give you a better girl. Sanjana says he can’t move on. Karthik says he’ll only marry Jiya. He leaves. Lakshmi calls Mangal. This behavior is certainly out of the ordinary. Sanjana suggests finding out who might be causing Jiya’s change in behavior and offers a potential solution.
Mangal is preparing breakfast when Kusum asks her to hurry up. Just then, Adit’s phone rings and Kusum answers. It’s Somaiya on the line, sounding extremely excited. She informs Adit that she has booked tickets to Goa for the weekend and suggests they have some fun there. Suddenly, Kusum notices that Adit isn’t responding and asks why he is silent. But it turns out that the call was for her all along. Somaiya gets concerned while Mangal inquires about the caller’s identity. This angers Kusum, who scolds Mangal for ignoring her surroundings. Feeling guilty, Mangal apologizes while Adit requests his lunch to be prepared before leaving for work.
Kusum looks at Adit angry. She takes the bag from him. Mangal asks what happened? Kusum says, “Take his lunch back.” Mangal asks what would he eat? I made his favorite food. Kusum says, “That’s fine.” Adit asks what happened? I’ll get some food from the canteen. Mangal must have done something wrong, he says.
As Adit leaves, Kusum stops him. What happened? Akshar says I am ready. Kusum says you won’t get to school today. It’s off. Adit asks what happened? Mangal says they missed their homework. Kusum says ask someone else. Adit is confused. What happened? Kusum says Mangla get ready. She also asks papa to get ready.
When Lakshmi arrives, she meets Kusum, who welcomes her home. Kusum tells Lakshmi that I went home from the temple. Kusum says get Mangal ready. Lakshmi asks if we are going out. Kusum says yes. Get Mangal ready. Gayatri tells Karthik to come for breakfast. Jiya calls Gayatri. She’s shocked. She asks where? She drops her phone. She rushes out.

Lakshmi says you look so pretty. Mangal sees her saree. She recalls how she got it for her wedding. Kusum gifted it to her before the wedding. Lakshmi says she is lucky to have a woman like her mother-in-law. Mangal says, this is beautiful, and Lakshmi says you are fortunate to have her as a mother-in-law.
