It’s time for Adit to see the wedding cake design. You always talk about weddings, so Adit says stop it, please. You have to decide now. You can’t be on two ships at once. You’ll fall from both. Here are your divorce papers. When Adit sees them, he’s shocked. What? She says to get Mangals’ signatures on these. We’re getting married in 20 days, so you don’t have much time.
Kusum informed us that our usual tailor is unavailable. Mangal suggests an alternative option, stating that she knows a very talented tailor. Gayatri inquires about the person, and Mangal clarifies that it’s Lakshmi, their daughter-in-law. She reassures them of her skills, mentioning that she used to sew before marriage. However, they cannot rely on her due to lack of time. Karthik finds the idea appealing and reminds them of their family’s designer. He turns to his mother for approval, and Kusum agrees with Mangal’s suggestion but advises asking their mother first. Karthik praises Lakshmi’s talent and suggests that they let her design everyone’s clothes while the kids pick the cake. He then proposes they go and place the order together.
Karthik and Lakshmi take Mangal to the cafe to collect the cake, and Adit accompanies them. However, they do not spot each other. Somiya expresses her frustration to Adit about his recent behavior before walking away. Mangal notices some papers left behind and stops a woman, who turns out to be Somiya, from taking them. Mangal shows the documents to her and reminds her that she had forgotten them there. Grateful for Mangal’s help, Somiya takes the papers and explains that they belong to a client. Karthik then arrives and is surprised to see Somiya there. When Mangal mentions that these are Somiya’s papers, Karthik suggests picking out a cake together, but Mangal suggests asking for Adit’s opinion since it is their anniversary celebration. Lakshmi mentions that they plan on renewing their vows and holding various events for which they would invite even Somiya. Interested in the idea, Somiya says she must return to work before leaving.
Adit and Somiya were having a difficult conversation. Adit expressed his indecision, to which Somiya replied by urging him to sign the papers. Adit ended up tearing the papers, prompting Somiya to assume that he had made a decision already. She then suggested he remarry Mangal, as nothing was left to discuss. Adit pointed out that they hadn’t even talked about it yet. Still, Somiya blamed herself for not communicating with him and for making the mistake of loving without expecting anything in return. She accidentally hit a bike in frustration, and Adit quickly checked on her well-being. However, she insisted on being alone and suffering on her own. Eventually, Adit convinced her to see a doctor by carrying her there himself.
Karthik and Kusum make a list of all the things. Mangal says we can go to the temple. Why do we have so many plans? Kusum says we’re so happy about this wedding. We want to celebrate it. You’ve made this marriage with so much love for 15 years. Lakshmi says let’s go for what we want. Karthik says we’ll get a big list together. Lakshmi says we should invite the woman we met at the market. Kusum asks who? Mangal says we met at the temple. She asks to get some water.
The landlord is there as Adit brings Somiya home. Kusum says we have finalized the wedding hall. The landlady says, “Wow, you are planning a wedding. Invite us as well.” Adit says, “Thank you so much. We will take care of it.” She says the doctor can’t heal her. I felt hurt every day.
Adit gives her water. Somiya says I will take Mangal’s place no matter what. I’ll sit in the mandap your mom is preparing. She calls Kusum. She says Adit is with me at my place. Kusum asks what do you mean? I just talked to him. He’s at work. Having met with an accident, Somiya said Adit stayed with me and brought me here. He cares about me.
