The episode starts with Mangal confronting Kusum about inviting Soumya to her wedding. Kusum reassures her that it’s better to keep potential threats in front rather than behind. Mangal is confused, and Kusum explains that since Adit’s colleagues are attending, not inviting Soumya might raise questions. She reminds Mangal of their mother-daughter bond and asks for her trust. Mangal affirms her faith in Kusum, who assures her that everything she does is for her good.

Meanwhile, the kids suggest a game where Adit has to find his name in Mangal’s mehndi. Soumya watches Adit with bitterness. Kusum encourages Adit to participate. As Soumya tries to approach the stage, Shanti intercepts her, mocking her presence as an outsider. She sarcastically invites Soumya to contribute by making rotis for the family. Though Soumya resists, Shanti insists. Soumya struggles and ends up with flour on her face.

While Adit searches for his name, Kusum tells him to look more closely. Soumya complains that her hands are itching, but Shanti dismisses her. Eventually, Adit finds his name in Mangal’s mehndi. Mangal excuses herself to check food arrangements. In the kitchen, Soumya drops a pot and nearly burns herself. Adit scolds her, concerned about Mangal’s safety. When Mangal enters, she brushes off the incident, but Adit appears uneasy and guilty. He silently vows to talk to Soumya later.

As the guests leave, Adit secretly texts Soumya to meet him at night. Kusum suddenly announces that Adit will go to Gayatri’s house that night, shocking everyone. She reminds them that tradition prohibits the bride and groom from meeting before the wedding. Adit will arrive the next day with the baraat, while Mangal stays at home. Akshar offers to join the baraat. Karthik insists Lakshmi should stay back too. Though Gayatri wants Lakshmi with them, Lakshmi promises to come early. Kusum says Mangal will next see Adit when he comes for her as a groom.

Later, Kusum tells Soumya she should stay in the house until the wedding. Mangal is surprised but Kusum simply tells her to continue trusting her.

At Karthik’s home, Adit arrives. Lakshmi forgets her phone and Gayatri scolds her. Karthik offers to retrieve it, but Gayatri sends Lakshmi instead. Outside, a man tries to sell sarees and shows her one identical to the one Adit gave Mangal. Lakshmi realizes it’s a cheap copy of the saree Mangal liked.

Elsewhere, Kusum prays for Mangal’s happiness while Soumya looks longingly at Mangal’s bridal dress.
