The episode begins with Mangal spotting Adit outside the office. Nervous, she tells herself she doesn’t want to get into any trouble. She recalls every moment when Adit and Soumya called her a burden, and her determination strengthens.

Meanwhile, Jiya calls Gayatri and tells her that Lakshmi currently has Karthik’s phone. She instructs her to get ready, then sends some old photos of herself with Karthik to his phone, hoping to create misunderstanding between him and Lakshmi.

At the office, the boss tells Eisha that he must leave soon. Eisha requests him to wait for a few minutes, but Soumya interrupts, saying they can find someone more responsible as he might miss his flight. Just then, Mangal walks in, out of breath from running. Everyone claps for her arrival.

Eisha introduces her proudly, saying, “This is our superstar home chef — she’s made all of us her fans through her food.” Mangal apologizes for being late, explaining that her car broke down and she had to run. Eisha smiles and asks her to come forward. Some staff members recognise her and ask if she is Adit’s wife.

Adit enters at that exact moment and freezes when he sees Mangal standing there. His colleagues tease him, saying it’s romantic that his wife works there too. Adit looks uncomfortable while Eisha insists Mangal meet the boss. Soumya is visibly worried, realising this could expose her own lies.

Meanwhile, back at home, Karthik dozes off while Lakshmi tries to tidy the room. Jiya’s photos pop up on his phone just before Lakshmi sees them. He quickly picks up the phone and says Maa had told Lakshmi to keep an eye on his messages. Lakshmi nods and leaves. Karthik immediately deletes the photos and messages Jiya, saying, “Don’t do this again. There is no place in my life or heart for you anymore.” But Jiya smirks and vows that she won’t let Lakshmi stay between them for long.

At the office, Eisha asks Mangal to sign some papers. Adit’s colleagues tease him again, saying he and his wife make the perfect team now. Adit gets irritated and demands an explanation from Soumya, asking if she knew about Mangal’s job. Soumya lies, saying she had no idea that Mangal was cooking from home and sending orders.

Mangal sits with the boss, who praises her for her discipline and commitment. He says, “I’ve heard that you even ran here to make it on time — that’s real dedication. Your hard work has inspired my entire staff.” He then asks if she can handle cooking for 170 people every day.

Before Mangal can respond, Adit interrupts, saying she can’t manage such a huge responsibility. He tries to belittle her, claiming she would say no herself. But Mangal surprises everyone by confidently saying yes. She tells the boss, “You trusted me with such responsibility — that itself is a big achievement for me. I’m truly grateful.”

The boss appreciates her attitude and offers her the contract. Soumya quickly whispers to Adit that Mangal is trying to prove she’s better than him and will get him fired next. Adit clenches his fists, saying bitterly, “First she hijacked my home, now she’s trying to take my office too.”

Mangal smiles as she signs the contract and says, “This work is like sunshine for me — I’ll never close this door again.” The boss congratulates her, saying he’s lucky to have her on board.

Later, Lakshmi stitches Karthik’s kurta. He thanks her for helping him at the last minute, saying no one is better than her at fixing things. Lakshmi laughs and says, “I can fix any tear.” Karthik gently adds, “Like you fixed me.”

Just then, Jiya calls Karthik again, informing him that the shoot location has been changed to Agra. Karthik looks puzzled and says, “What? Why so suddenly?” Jiya replies slyly, “Things change with time. You’ll have to come to me.” Her tone hints at her manipulative intent as Lakshmi looks on, unaware of Jiya’s plan.
