At the same time, Kusum confides in Gayatri, sharing her guilt and sorrow about Adit’s betrayal. Gayatri says Kusum should never have hidden the truth from Mangal. Karthik agrees, saying no matter Kusum’s pain, what Mangal endured was wrong and the family must stand by her.

Shanti takes Mangal to the market and orders chaat to cheer her up. While Mangal reluctantly eats, Soumya arrives at the same place and pretends to talk loudly on the phone, telling neighbors that Mangal is enjoying herself despite being divorced.
