Mangal Lakshmi 23rd October 2024 Written Episode begins with Mangal struggling to fill a cheque. Lakshmi calls and guides her, helping her withdraw the money successfully.
Meanwhile, Soumya tells Adit about the humiliation she faced in the market when her face was nearly blackened. Adit is furious at Mangal, saying she has changed completely. Soumya manipulates him further, saying Mangal is trying to break them apart. She reminds him that their marriage isn’t legal yet, and insists they should complete it quickly before Mangal finds out. Adit agrees, saying what matters most is that they are together.
At school, Akshar breaks down crying when classmates tease him. The principal calls Mangal, who rushes to school. She learns that Akshar looks disturbed and may be suffering trauma from family problems. The principal reminds her children are most affected by conflicts at home. She says she even tried calling Adit, but he didn’t respond. Soumya stops Adit from answering, telling him to let Mangal struggle, confident she cannot pay school fees on her own.
Later, Shanti angrily confronts Lipika, accusing her of helping Soumya by making Mangal sign divorce papers. Lipika tearfully admits the truth. She confesses that Soumya blackmailed her, forcing her to hand over forged divorce papers. Lipika says Mangal never signed them and that Soumya herself does not know the papers are fake. Everyone is shocked.
Lipika explains that Adit’s signatures on the real papers are genuine, but Mangal’s were never there. She reveals she faked both signatures before handing the papers to Soumya. This means that Adit and Soumya’s marriage has no legal standing—it is null and void under Indian law because he never legally divorced Mangal. The family insists they should take legal action and expose Soumya.
However, Mangal refuses. She explains that her victory cannot come from a piece of paper. For 15 years she gave her love, loyalty, and trust to the marriage, while Adit never truly considered her his partner. She says though her signature was forged, Adit’s decision to sign was real. He chose to betray her. Mangal declares that marriage is bound by love and trust, not legal documents, and she does not want to fight for a relationship that Adit himself discarded.
