Mangal Lakshmi 24th November 2024 Written Episode Update on worldofentertainment.in
The episode begins with Adit furiously confronting Soumya. He yells, “Is this your work? We’ve been preparing this report for a week, and everything was wrong! How could you make such a big mistake?” In his rage, he throws papers and breaks a vase. Soumya pleads with him to calm down, but he shouts, “Calm down? I was insulted in front of the client and the boss because of your carelessness! All you had to do was check the figures. I did everything else.”
He vents his anger further, saying, “That illiterate ninth-pass Mangal was praised in front of everyone. She was teaching me numbers! She can’t even read English or teach kids, yet her fluke worked. I don’t know how she ended up here, but I can’t stand her.” Soumya looks away, silently fuming.
At the office, Mr. Mehra meets Mangal and hands her an advance for her catering contract. Delighted, Mangal thanks him. Mr. Mehra smiles and says, “There’s another reason I called you here. I want to offer you a job in our accounts department.” Mangal is stunned.
Meanwhile, Adit’s colleagues mock him for being corrected by his wife in front of everyone. One of them jokes, “You didn’t even know she was coming to work here, and now she’s fixing your mistakes too.” Soumya defends Adit, saying anyone can make an error. The colleague laughs, “Sure, but my wife doesn’t correct me in front of the client.” Adit, humiliated, tells them to leave him alone.
Mr. Mehra explains his offer to Mangal. “You made the kind of calculation mistake even experienced professionals make, yet you spotted it instantly. You’re naturally gifted with numbers,” he tells her. Mangal modestly replies, “I only do household math, sir.” Mr. Mehra says, “You don’t give yourself enough credit. Managing household budgets requires real skill. I want you to handle company accounts along with the canteen. It’s temporary for now — one of our accountants is on leave. Try it for a few days, and if it suits you, we’ll make it permanent.”
Mangal hesitates, saying she already has her canteen work and family responsibilities. Mr. Mehra encourages her, “Housewives already multitask better than most professionals. You’ll manage it perfectly.” Just then, Adit overhears the conversation. Mr. Mehra smiles and says, “Congratulations, Adit — your wife is a rockstar.” Adit forces a smile, clearly irritated.
Mr. Mehra then tells Soumya that Mangal will be joining as an accountant. Soumya is shocked. “Was he joking? This ninth-pass Mangal will handle accounts?” she mutters. Eisha enters, hugs Mangal, and congratulates her. “You’ll be our office star now. Maybe we should give you and Adit the same cabin — work and romance together!” she jokes. Soumya cuts in sharply, saying, “Adit is in IT. How can his work relate to ordinary bookkeeping? Look at his status.” Eisha smiles and replies, “They’re husband and wife, not competitors. Don’t be so technical.”
Later, Eisha encourages Mangal again. “You can do more than you think. This is your time to shine,” she says. Mangal nods, still unsure.
At home, Kusum is teaching Akshar how to read time. She tells him, “Everything happens when it’s written in your destiny.” After he goes to play, Mangal shares her news. Kusum asks why she looks worried despite getting the job. Mangal says, “I’m happy about the canteen contract, but I’m not sure if I should take the office job. It’s in the same company as Adit.” Kusum advises her to do what feels right and hugs her warmly.
Meanwhile, at home, Adit’s anger continues to boil. Soumya paces around, fuming. “What kind of magic does Mangal do? She has no degree, no face, no glamour, yet she gets every opportunity. Do something before she becomes your boss!” she shouts. Adit loses control. “Enough!” he yells, throwing papers at her. “You’re the reason this happened. You didn’t focus on work — only shopping and showing off. If you had checked the presentation properly, Mangal wouldn’t have had this chance.” Soumya snaps back, “Now you’re blaming me?” He growls, “Just shut up!”
That evening, Adit comes home and sees Mangal talking with Kusum. He takes out his phone and sarcastically says, “Sit together and smile. You look so happy. Let’s celebrate — my wife, the new office star!” Kusum frowns, asking what this drama is. Adit laughs bitterly. “Be happy, Mangal. You ruined my career today. You must be proud of yourself.” He throws his phone in frustration and yells, “How dare you come to my office and embarrass me?”
Sudesh and Kusum try to calm him down, but Adit continues shouting. “Do you know what she did? She corrected my report in front of everyone. The boss gave her an advance and even a new job offer. Imagine — this ninth-pass woman is now an accountant in my office!”
Mangal tries to speak, but Adit cuts her off. “You have no right to come to my workplace and humiliate me. Who asked you to open your mouth in front of the client?” He rolls up his sleeves, trembling with rage. “You think you’re better than me now?” Mangal gathers her courage and says, “I didn’t insult you, Adit. You made a mistake, and I corrected it so you wouldn’t lose your deal.” Her calm reply leaves Adit speechless, though his anger doesn’t fade.
