The episode starts with Adit confessing to Soumya that he does not like Mangal. He says he hates her and is only marrying her to make his mother happy. He asks Soumya to tell him where Mangal is. Soumya says Mangal is lying unconscious in the corridor.

The manager tries to open the door. Karthik breaks it down and they all enter. Soumya hides under the bed. Mangal is lying unconscious. Kusum panics and asks what happened. Adit enters from the back window pretending to have brought Mangal there for rest. Shanti questions his actions. Adit says Mangal was unwell and needed rest. Lakshmi tries to wake her up while Kusum notices she is not opening her eyes.

Eventually, Mangal wakes up. Lakshmi hugs her tightly. Kusum asks why she fainted. Mangal says she does not remember much. She was on her way to the mandap with Lipika when she started feeling dizzy. Adit says she must have gotten weak due to fasting. Lakshmi suspects there is another reason. Adit brushes it off and says not to complicate things. He asks Mangal if she is fine. She says yes. The family takes her out.

The wedding rituals resume. Lakshmi ties the wedding knot between Mangal and Adit. They take their pheras. Adit lifts her up, and everyone celebrates the moment. However, in his mind, Adit mocks her saying she is a burden he has to carry. He completes the rituals by tying the mangalsutra and applying sindoor. Soumya watches with jealousy and thinks Adit is hers alone. She vows never to let Mangal win.

After the wedding, Kusum performs Mangal and Adit’s greh pravesh. She expresses her happiness about Mangal returning as her daughter-in-law. Mangal steps into the house as a bride, recalling her previous wedding night when Adit was full of anger. Kusum blesses the couple and urges them to give this marriage a fresh start. Sudesh also gives his blessings. Mangal feels hopeful and says everything feels new.

Lakshmi prepares tea for everyone. Meanwhile, Adit receives a call from his boss who scolds him for neglecting work. The boss informs him that Suresh has been made project head and Adit’s salary will be reduced. Furious, Adit blames Mangal and starts breaking things in anger.

Soumya calls Adit and pretends to be concerned. She informs him that the boss is very upset and the project is being taken from him. Adit vents that Mangal is to blame for everything. He calls her an illiterate woman who does not understand anything.

Just then, Mangal enters and offers him water. Adit throws the glass away and shouts at her to get lost. Mangal gently asks if she can help. Adit grabs her hand roughly, breaking her bangles. Her hand starts bleeding.

Lakshmi enters the room and is shocked to see Mangal hurt. She questions Adit about injuring her sister. Adit tells her to stay out of it. Lakshmi refuses to back down. She demands to know how he dares to hurt Mangal. Adit claims it was nothing. Lakshmi points to the blood and says she saw it herself.

Mangal tries to cover up the incident saying it was a mistake. Adit insults Lakshmi and questions her authority. He says she is not even Mangal’s real sister. Lakshmi firmly says it is no longer about who is real or not. Adit raises his voice, threatening her. Lakshmi boldly replies that if he touches her, it will be considered domestic violence and he could be punished by law. Soumya hears this entire exchange on the phone call.
