Akshar reveals, “I have proof,” leaving Somiya in shock. He continues, “Yes, I do. I installed a camera for my plants in the kitchen.” Adit’s addition of salt leads him to exclaim, “What rubbish?” Kusum requests that Akshar retrieve his camera. Adit takes it from him, but Kusum takes control and asks Akshar to present the evidence. Adit interrupts with an excuse, “Amma, it doesn’t work.” To everyone’s dismay, he confesses to deleting the video and tries to downplay the situation by saying that Mangal may have made a mistake. Frustrated, he questions why Mangal always gets away with things and labels her as a curse on him. As he rummages through the trash, he discovers flowers discarded by Mangal.
Adit treats the children to ice cream while surprising Mangal with a bouquet of flowers. As a result, Mangal becomes bashful. Mayank admires his friend’s romantic gesture, prompting Adit to quip that he always strives to keep his wife content. Shanti mentions this is their first time doing something like this, prompting Mayank to offer to drop off the item in question for Somiya.
Mangal presents his outfit to Akshar, who mentions that his camera is malfunctioning. Mangal requests to see it, and Akshar agrees to do so after charging the device. As he plays the footage, he inquires about their father’s actions. Mangal then shows Adit seasoning the food with salt, which surprises her. She approaches Adit and asks if he has added salt to the dish. He is taken aback but admits to doing so. Mangal expresses her relief that she could catch this on Akshar’s working camera and thanks him for saving the day. She also commends Adit for cooking a delicious meal and he humbly responds that he sampled it himself and noticed no salt. In appreciation, she thanks them both for their contributions.
Kusum urges Akshar to drink the milkshake, but he declines. She suggests giving it to Adit instead, who ends up consuming it. Kusum then reveals that she added rose petals to the shake, causing Adit to cough and vomit. Concerned, she asks him what happened, and he explains that he thought the petals came from the flowers he gave her. Kusum questions if there was something wrong with those particular flowers, but Adit assures her that everything is fine.
As Somiya prepares as the bride, Shalini expresses her joy for this long-awaited moment. However, Somiya’s nerves are evident. Grateful for her support, Shalini thanks Somiya for listening to their wishes. Meanwhile, Adit assures Somiya that his plan will be successful this time. He then goes to Mayank’s room and spills oil on the floor. As Mayank steps out, Mangal stops him and notices the oil. She offers to clean it up and expresses relief that he did not slip. Grateful for her quick thinking, Mayank credits Mangal for saving the day.
Somiya contacts Adit and pleads for his help. She explains that she poured oil in Mayank’s room, but unfortunately, Mangal caught her in the act. Somiya expresses her reluctance to marry Mayank, believing she will be stuck just like Adit. Adit suggests that Somiya should escape from the wedding ceremony and return once Mayank has left. However, Somiya refuses this plan as it is not a viable solution for every situation. She then asks Adit to reveal their relationship to his family, but he hesitates and claims it is difficult. Frustrated, Somiya decides to confide in Mangal about everything.
Mangal approaches Adit and suggests, “You should try on this kurta.” Adit responds, “I don’t want to wear my wedding sherwani.” Mangal persists, “It would suit you well.” However, Adit rejects it and exclaims, “I despise it.” Trying to calm him down, Mangal adds, “Please don’t be upset. I’ll find another one for you.”
Somiya dials Mangal’s number, answered by Adit who instructs her to prepare while he attends to the call. Upon hearing his voice, she urges him not to resort to desperate measures and suggests they flee instead, but he insists that marrying the person in question is their only option. Refusing to give in, Somiya declares her determination and Adit responds by cutting off Mangal’s phone and locking it.
