Mangal prays that everything goes well. She’s on her way. She calls Laxmi. Mangal asks if everyone is up. She says yes. Mangal says everyone should wake up early. I hope everything goes well today. Laxmi says you don’t need to worry. Mangal says get ready well today. The guy will surely like you. Laxmi prays for Mangal that her marriage is fixed today. She says she hopes she finds Sachin. Mangal wishes Laxmi a happy life.
Mangal buys vegetables while Laxmi arranges things around the house. Chachi sells their mother’s utensils for money. Laxmi asks what you’re doing? These were Maa’s utensils. You’re selling them for milk? Chachi asks if your mother is here. We raised you, but we’re nothing. Laxmi says this is the only thing we have left of Ma. What will I do with them when you get married and leave this house soon?

She also questions why Chanda didn’t come and suggests celebrating her daughter’s birthday later. However, Mangal explains that she gave Chanda the day off and adds that it holds special significance for her. When her mother-in-law asks who will give her a head massage (Champi), Mangal responds confidently, saying she will take care of it herself.
It was her dad’s shop, Laxmi tells her friend Sonu. She says some customers come from her father’s time. They pay late but always pay. She works at the shop. She sews clothes. Mangal’s daughter Sahina says I won’t take paratha. She says don’t talk like that. You had a sandwich yesterday. It’s her job to cook Akshar’s favorite foods every day. People tend to make jokes at my expense whenever I take you to parties. During their conversation, his coffee spills, and he accuses her of doing it intentionally because she is jealous of him. She offers to get him water, but he declines, saying he doesn’t need it, and makes a snide remark about the coffee being cold like her. He criticizes her for not being able to make a simple cup of coffee for him and for not taking care of his choices. In anger, he decides to have his coffee in the office instead and leaves her behind, giving her only 10 minutes to get ready and meet him downstairs. She asks if he can meet the guy she wants him to meet, but he declines, stating that he has work and meetings and doesn’t have time for them. He also adds that she should wear something decent before leaving. Mangal gets ready as instructed by Indu Mausi’s words imply that she needs to impress someone important during this outing.
Chachi asks Laxmi to hurry home. She says she’s going to the beauty parlor. She must bring money today. A customer pays. Sonu dances.
There are radio songs about Mangal’s husband, Karthik. Amma says he’s famous. He says two songs don’t make anyone famous. Shaina says you never like his songs. He asks where Mangal is. He gets Akshar ready. He says I need to go to the washroom. She says let’s go. We’re getting ready. He says I need to go to the bathroom. Amma says Mangal’s not slow. He keeps honking. Feeling upset with his actions, Mangal removes the laddus from his hand and promises not to tell Kusum. As she exits the room, she realizes Adit and Kusum have already left without her. Frustrated with herself for always making mistakes, Mangal takes an auto home.
In Laxmi’s home, everything is gathered. Chachi asks her to check the time. She says that she will get ready as soon as she sees it. Let Depika get ready, and you will make pakoras. Laxmi cooks. Deepika gets ready. Laxmi gets prepared too. Chacha says let Laxmi get ready, too. The family is coming to see Laxmi, not Deepika. Chachi says I don’t even know who Mangal chose for Laxmi. She calls Laxmi. She says come fast. She says you are coming in an auto. You said you are coming with Jeju?
She says Adi was getting late for the office. I was late. I sent him. Laxmi says don’t lie. I always lie about him. Mangal says get ready, Laxmi. She asks Deepika to get her ready.
