Mangal Lakshmi 29th October 2024 Written Episode begins with Mangal confronting Soumya. She accuses Soumya of trying to use Adit’s marriage to show off in front of Akshar. Mangal refuses to step away from her own husband, reminding Soumya that she has no legal or emotional rights over Adit. Soumya counters that she has suffered for years and now wants the respect and status Mangal enjoyed. She shows divorce papers, claiming Mangal has signed them.

To Soumya’s shock, Mangal reveals the papers are forged. She says her sister Lipika tricked Soumya instead of her. Mangal firmly states that she and Adit are not divorced, as true relationships are built on emotions, not signatures. Soumya insists that Adit loves her, while Mangal reminds her that he is also the father of her children.

Later, Mangal takes Soumya to the temple and declares that she is giving her the rights of Adit’s wife in front of God, but demands she respect the family and fulfill the responsibilities. Soumya laughs at household duties, boasting she handles bigger projects. Mangal explains that running a home requires honesty and responsibility. Soumya challenges Mangal—if she proves to be a better wife and daughter-in-law, Mangal must leave the house. Mangal accepts on the condition that Akshar must not know.

Meanwhile, Kusum refuses to accept Soumya and lashes out at Adit, calling him shameless for leaving a good wife. Adit pleads with his mother to accept Soumya, insisting she is his life, but Kusum walks away in anger.

On the other side, Lakshmi shows Karthik a saree she made for Mangal for Diwali. However, Karthik is stressed as many of his shows have been cancelled. Gayatri blames Lakshmi, saying his devotion to her has ruined his career. Karthik defends Lakshmi, saying he could not abandon her when she was unwell.

Kusum returns home and is shocked to see Lakshmi ordering household goods. When Lakshmi calls her “Amma,” Kusum angrily says she is only a guest. Lakshmi insists that Mangal gave her the right of a daughter-in-law. Kusum is furious and confronts Mangal. Mangal replies that Adit has chosen his wife, and Soumya should now be given her rightful place.
