The episode begins with the preparations for the pooja. Kusum asks Ishana to wear a kurta instead of jeans. Ishana resists, saying she prefers jeans. Mangal steps in and says intentions matter more than clothes. Adit agrees and says it’s okay if she attends the pooja in jeans.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi confronts Shanti about Soumya’s boyfriend and confirms that the man introduced as her boyfriend was a fake. She reveals that Soumya’s real boyfriend paid the man to act. Shanti is shocked and wonders who the real boyfriend is.
At the same time, Soumya calls Lipika and demands that she meet her at the market. Lipika is hesitant, but Soumya threatens to reveal her blackmailing schemes to Mangal. Fearing consequences, Lipika agrees to meet her.
Mangal starts the aarti while Karthik calls Lakshmi, informing her that their mother is unwell. She rushes home. Lipika says she has to go to the market and Shanti suggests that Lakshmi can drop her off. Lipika gets off early, saying she will go on foot, but accidentally drops her keys. While retrieving them, she meets Soumya.
Soumya brings up the divorce papers and blackmails Lipika, demanding she gets Mangal’s signature. Lipika refuses, saying she won’t help ruin Mangal’s life. Soumya then shows her some photos with her real boyfriend, threatening to expose her if she doesn’t cooperate.
Lakshmi sees Soumya and Lipika together and approaches them. She questions their meeting, but Lipika lies, saying she was handing over her CV for a job. Lakshmi isn’t convinced. Soumya taunts Lakshmi for being overly suspicious and brings up the police complaint against Adit. Lakshmi is surprised and asks how Soumya knows about it. Soumya evades the question, and Lakshmi receives another call from Karthik, prompting her to leave.
Meanwhile, Akshar insists Mangal make an airplane for him using a paper. Mangal obliges and notices that the document has Adit’s signature. Curious, she looks closer. Akshar reads the document and mentions it says “decree of divorce.” Mangal is stunned.
At home, Karthik scolds Lakshmi for being absent while their mother was unwell. Lakshmi apologizes and promises to be more careful. She offers help to Gayatri, who ignores her.
Back in the room, Mangal questions Adit about the paper with his signature. He looks confused and takes the document. Adit dismisses it as an office paper and claims the word was “diverse,” not “divorce.” He accuses Akshar of misunderstanding the contract and insists Mangal trust him. He then tells her to read the document for herself.
