Karthik helps Lakshmi put on the bangles. Then, Somaiya texts Adit to assist her with the bangles. Karthik then takes Lakshmi along with him, and she asks where they are going. He replies that she will find out once they arrive there. It’s a surprise. He then asks if she trusts him,, and she says she trusts him more than herself. As they continue on their journey, Karthik sings for her. Meanwhile, Kusum wonders why Somaiya is still lingering around. Adit explains that she is waiting for a cab, but Kusum suggests taking an auto instead. In their minds, Adit ponders why Somaiya is being stubborn about leaving. At the same time, Mangal informs Kusum that Karthik has taken Lakshmi to buy a Mangalsutra, and Kusum expresses her excitement by saying, “Wow”.
Lakshmi asks Karthik to pick out the mangalsutra. He says you pick the one you like. What can I say? He says I knew you’d say that, so I made arrangements already. Jiya arrives. Karthik thanks Jiya for coming. I asked you for help with Lakshmi. She gets upset and asks, “Is that why you called me?”?
