Mangal Lakshmi 3rd December 2024 Written Update begins with Mangal revealing that Soumya is pregnant. Adit is shocked and calls it a cheap joke. He accuses Mangal of stooping too low, but she tells him to check for himself or visit Malini’s clinic because Soumya is unwell. Adit panics and begs her not to inform his mother. Mangal replies that she has no interest in his personal matters. Adit immediately rushes to the hospital.
Jiya arrives to confront Gayatri. Gayatri asks what she is talking about. Jiya accuses her of joking around, saying she had asked Karthik to meet her but he sent a doctor instead. She blames Gayatri for ruining her plan and threatens that if Gayatri has another blackout, she will expose her. Gayatri asks her to stop playing dirty games with Karthik, but Jiya counters that Gayatri has also done the same in the past. She warns that she can destroy both Gayatri and Karthik, and the day Gayatri blacks out again, their lives will fall apart. Jiya orders Gayatri to create misunderstandings between Karthik and Lakshmi. Gayatri refuses, saying she cannot deceive her son. Jiya reminds her of her past actions and insists she will not let her forget them.
Meanwhile, Akshar holds Mangal’s hand, and she remembers the moment he was born.
Adit reaches the hospital where Soumya hugs him and breaks down. She tells him she never expected this to happen and asks what they will do now. Adit wonders how they became so careless. Soumya reminds him that he had come to her house drunk that night. She says she is not ready for this situation. The doctor instructs Adit to ensure Soumya stays happy and stress free because her vitals are not stable. He tells Adit to take her home. Soumya cries, saying she does not even have a home and does not know where she should go.
Back at the Bajwa house, Lakshmi is cleaning Karthik’s wardrobe. Gayatri tells her to clean the upper shelf as well. As Lakshmi does so, old photos of Karthik and Jiya fall out. Lakshmi looks at them quietly. Gayatri remarks that Karthik had kept them safe and she thought he had forgotten Jiya. She says first love is difficult to forget and many people once believed they were made for each other. Gayatri suggests burning the photos because it is not wise to keep them. Lakshmi firmly refuses. She says she trusts Karthik completely, knows he is emotional and values memories, but Jiya is his past. Lakshmi decides to place the photos back in the shelf.
Mangal keeps thinking about Soumya’s unborn child and becomes distracted. She starts crying, and the entire kitchen becomes untidy as she loses focus.
The next morning, Adit gets Soumya discharged from the hospital. The doctor again reminds him to give her vitamins on time and keep her happy because this is a critical stage. A neighbour sees Adit and wonders if Mangal might be pregnant since she sees him with a woman.
Mangal prepares food boxes for delivery. Kusum reminds her that she has already sent all the boxes. Seeing Mangal upset, Kusum asks if she slept well. Mangal says she woke up early. Shanti calls Kusum, and Kusum suggests giving her the good news that Soumya has finally left the house. Shanti is overjoyed and says Adit did not even try to stop her. She prays for everything to improve between Adit and Mangal. Mangal says she must leave for work. Kusum tells her she wants to do her arti for good luck and to keep the happiness in their home. She declares that the troublemaker will never return.
At that moment, Soumya walks into the house. Kusum drops the arti plate in shock and demands to know what she is doing there.
